Gurdjieff Russian documentary

I think this movie could be put in category of cointelpro because after those lies spoken and assumptions made without any hard evidence is propaganda en large. There are standard sayings to make him look bad like he was connected to Nazis, Stalin and with masons, even that he was descendant of Byzantine emperors, only first 3 parts are translated out of 6, but it was enough for me after second part!

With Polish voice-over: _https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4S7EZiAqXnE

There is also this Russian documentary, which is much better: _https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WUcBt5wOUMc

I watched it and think that it's worth watching if only to learn about what kind of people Gurdjieff came across. It seems like he indeed had a plan and was searching for ways to implement it in a strategic way. Obviously the documentary tries to put a scandalous spin on this and makes all kind of interpretations (makes G. appear "guilty by association"), while it's quite possible that he tried to make his plan a reality, and at the same time be in contact or be known among powerful people who would either help him (while thinking of their own agenda), or at least not interfere. At least that was an impression. But I am sure that there are far better and more objective documentaries out there.

I agree with your impression.
