Had a bad feeling

Something bad happened to a member of this network at around 6:45 PM, Thursday, January 8, 2015, Standard Time +0000 UTC. ~ 14 minutes ago I got the scary feeling similar to what you might feel, when you are told a family member just got a serious accident: a red light started blinking.

I understand that you wanted to get it off your chest, but I am a little wary that if one pays too much attention to these pings they might turn into a kind of self fulfilling prophesy.

When I was in Keto my anxiety and these sharp moments of terror decreased significantly, actually so much that it became clear to me that they had to be somehow food-related, either by intake of the wrong foods themselves or by being more perceptible to weird influences from outside, and Keto acting as a shield.

I am not saying that premonitions don't exist, but a good diet weeds out all the false alarms ...

Your help, these answers are exactly what is needed. I was aware these feelings being also tests, but thinking through this alone - with little sensible thoughts - I can't get as sober as thinking with a network. Fat gave a lot of stability, for example making that strong buzzing / synthesizer sound in semi-sleep state (others were complaining about that too on this forum) go away.

Lot of accidents are reported on the net, some seem attracting my attention and probably are designed / written that way, maybe to draw people like me in - too many times - to comment then start searching. I think those articles can be viewed also as test for strategic enclosure. Conserving force / energy by not starting investigating frequently and over-thinking those cases.

Especially not allowing myself to go there to begin speculating and feeling around what happened, starting an obsessive, time consuming research to get a better idea. Seems a waste of energy. I wouldn't be surprised if some of these articles were designed to be lures, to make people lose energy often by being occupied with accidents in the news, when that energy could be spent on useful activity that can help a group like this one advancing plans.

lilies, I can't even count the number of times that people have sent me emails telling me that something bad must have happened, or was going to happen, where nothing had happened, nor did it. As MT pointed out above, quite often these "feelings" people get are due to bad dietary choices in and of themselves, OR their bad dietary choices make them susceptible to various kinds of negative waves in the environment. And, as Timotheos points out, there are all kinds of such waves out there.

I have noticed that I get cranky around the time of earthquakes and such and I can generally tell when the PTB have cranked up the power on their "messing with the mind" wave machines (whatever they are), but I've learned (mostly) to wait and observe, gather more data, and try to test/tune my sensations. Perhaps you should do the same instead of going all panicky?

This was exactly what I needed. Talking this out so I can recalibrate my reading instrument and progress toward a more improved version of a future self.

Theseus, LMJ thank you. I will try out the probiotics, especially since I had IBS since childhood, probably also inherited some genes for weak/sensitive stomach from my father.

Being a chronic worrier I understand where you are coming from.

Not saying it's necessarily the case with you (or lillies) but if chronic anxiety is still present after a change of diet, this can sometimes be due to a lack of vitamin B6 and zinc.
I will pay more attention to proper B6 and Zinc intake, thank you!

If this happens to be an issue for you, you might take a look at some information on pyroluria, in which chronic deficiencies in B6 and zinc are implicated. Note that one of the primary causes is heavy metal toxicity -- as I mentioned on a couple of recent threads, I recently learned that I have very high levels of lead and mercury in my body, which I'm currently chelating, and I think this may be a primary driver behind my own pyroluria (as well as vascular inflammation which I'm treating in tandem). I'm a worrier as well, and as Mrs. Tigersoap mentioned, this is one of the psychological symptoms which can manifest due to these deficiencies.

I think this is good advice, and can take some practice (but it's good external consideration). Strange things happen sometimes. As a case in point, a few nights ago I woke up around 3 a.m. and noticed that the wall across from my bed was glowing bright red (it was dark around the edges). There was no external light source across the room from it (or anywhere else for that matter) which could have caused it; it was very bizarre. I made a mental note to remember it as I went back to sleep, and was able to recall it the next morning. Was I dreaming? It didn't have the quality of a dream in my memory the next day, but I can't exclude that possibility. Maybe it was significant, maybe not -- sometimes all we can do is sit on our strange experiences waiting for a connection to eventually emerge, if one happens to exist.

Pyroluria noted, thank you, Shijing. I have a few symptoms and had a lot of them as a teenager and before switching to paleo. Will search for domestic test labs. Its mind boggling, how genes and body chemistry change brain functions. I hope all this has a chance to stabilize, once I build my own pool fed by a deep artesian well.

Considering all this Charlie Hebdo thing, maybe your attack of the panickies wasn't so crazy after all???
