Happy anniversary, Ark and Laura!

Thank you to all and yes, we had a quiet day together doing what we most like to do: working! LOL! Yes, I know... but neither of us really understands "taking time off." My idea of a holiday would be to have a crew of people come in to do all the little stuff that I have to attend to all the time, leaving me free to just read and make notes!

I baked a fresh ham yesterday covered with black cherry preserves and it was fantastic.

Our EE teachers here were away in Lille teaching, filming, and getting reports from them on the great success of the program was a real gift.

Anyway, yesterday was our 12th anniversary though we have been together for 14 years, actually. I wish everyone could experience the kind of happiness we have.

That ham sounds absolutely delicious too. I think sometimes I would fly to France just to sample your cooking! :lol:

Actually, there are a few people who do just that...

Funny, I never saw myself as a good cook, I just had people I loved all around me that I had to cook for and I wanted to make them happy while ensuring good nutrition. Even when we were eating "evil" foods, they were fresh and home cooked!

Belated anniversary wishes! The Mister and I will celebrate out 14th year together next month!
