Happy birthday to Laura!

İyi ki doğdun Laura. (how fortunate (for us) that you were born) Many happy returns and here is a song by Bob Dylan

Forever Young

May God bless and keep you always,
May your wishes all come true,
May you always do for others
And let others do for you.
May you build a ladder to the stars
And climb on every rung,
May you stay forever young,
Forever young, forever young,
May you stay forever young.

May you grow up to be righteous,
May you grow up to be true,
May you always know the truth
And see the lights surrounding you.
May you always be courageous,
Stand upright and be strong,
May you stay forever young,
Forever young, forever young,
May you stay forever young.

May your hands always be busy,
May your feet always be swift,
May you have a strong foundation
When the winds of changes shift.
May your heart always be joyful,
May your song always be sung,
May you stay forever young,
Forever young, forever young,
May you stay forever young.

Laura, Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday Laura! And thank you for what you do!

Laura, Happy Birthday!

Dear Laura, happy birthday. For what its worth, and just in the very small chance that you don't already know, which is not likely since I know you aware of so much more in comparison to my point of view, and that is to say the least, here is a little bit of info on a world wonder that I became aware of today thanks to a friend while I was at my father's house celebrating his belated birthday with my family and him:

"Menar Jonban: The Swinging Minarets of Isfahan"

_http://www.payvand.com/news/04/dec/1000.html

Just sharing a little birthday wonder for fun since I think it sort of fits in this happy birthday thread that is in the "creative acts" section. The architect of this odd minaret was certainly creative I think.

Love,

Saman

Add me to the list of belated Birthday wishes--Happy Birthday Laura!. Having just spent my own BD a few days ago getting a CAT scan for a head injury. I am grateful to be here and be able to celebrate anything and everything!

Laura, I hope you had many gifts, physical and otherwise, to help you celebrate. But, I do not think there is anything many of us could give you that is as valuable as the gift of knowledge and awareness you have give to so many with the messages from the C's and SOTT--thank you. I hope you are feeling better soon. Best wishes for now and beyond.

Thank you to everyone!

Yes, the birthday was gluten free... carrot cake with cream cheese icing. We had home-made ice-cream and I decided on pulled pork barbecue for dinner since I really missed good, Southern barbecue.

It was a nice day and today I think I need to rest a bit! (Though I read when I rest, so there will be more comet stuff!)

Thanks again to everyone.

Laura, Happy Birthday!

Thank you all for remembering and sending such nice wishes my way!

(a bit late, but i didn't know)

Your work is priceless and has served so many of us. Most heartfelt thanks!
Hopefully we'll be able to give you and the Sott team back what you're accomplishing each day anew.

Belated Happy Birthday fellow Aquarius!

Pluto just moved into Capricorn, out of Sagittarius, where it has been for the past 15 years.
Here's what it means for Aquarius sun and rising sign in general. I can certainly relate to it.
from a great astrologer, named Michael Lutin, whose writings and interpretations I've always enjoyed over the years....

PLUTO IN CAPRICORN for AQUARIUS

WHERE YOU’VE BEEN FOR THE LAST FIFTEEN YEARS AND WHAT YOU’VE LEARNED

Consider yourself an accomplished anthropologist. Talk about E.T. landing in his flying saucer and encountering alien beings!

Your sense of belonging has been truly tested.

People you would have never dreamed you’d meet, let alone actually enter into relationships with have made such a tremendous impact on your life and consciousness that you will never look upon people and prejudice in the same way again – your own prejudices as well as theirs.

You’ve probably always considered yourself a fairly just and open-minded individual, but the last few years have opened you up to groups and associations that have opened your eyes to possibilities you had never even considered before.

We’re not saying you’ve been living a utopian dream, because, God knows, some of the people you have met are self-serving and wooden-headed and eternally unwilling to step out of their narrow views and look outside the box.

You, however, because you have been devoted to making a genuine contribution to the human race, have opened yourself up to a whole world of people you either didn’t know exist or, if you did, thought they were weird, unattractive, and in some cases, downright evil.

Your direction, however, has changed drastically since the days when you were so firmly, absolutely sure of your goals and political stances.

The past fifteen years should have shown you how impossible it is to cut ourselves off from segments of humanity or pretend to be blind to the plights and issues of others.

You’ve opened up, partly because you have needed to for your own curiosity, and partly because you have been forced to by being plunked down in the middle of circumstances over which you had no control. Interconnected we all are in our country, our continent, our world, and who knows, maybe in this whole galaxy.

A person’s race, religion, ethnic origin or political party should not impede with our sense of brotherhood and sisterhood as thinking beings.

While your direction has not seemed clear at times, you’ve been on a mission of vital importance – a mission of exploration into strange new worlds and civilizations that exist right in your own back yard. People who have impacted your life enormously will probably soon pass out of your sphere and you out of theirs. It’s time to move on.

WHERE YOU ARE HEADED FOR THE NEXT FIFTEEN YEARS

We all come to a point in our lives when we’ve almost seen it all, done it all, and chased every rainbow that appeared before our eyes – whether it’s in the area of professional or personal relationships.

When we reach that fork in the road, it begins to dawn on us that perhaps what we have been looking for is not what we really wanted at all, mainly because we still have a yearning inside that is not being fulfilled by the obvious material rewards and external outlets for satisfaction we’ve been pursuing.

At that moment you turn up your coat collar and bravely march off into the night, in the hopes of finding some bigger answers to life’s bigger questions.

There is a mystery surrounding your life, a mystery you are now about to embark upon a journey to solve. This is not a self-aggrandizing attempt to let the world know how great you are. It’s not about that any more. It’s not about pushing yourself blindly and egotistically ahead.

You’re tired of all that.

Something else is stirring within you, deep inside your soul. It’s a thirst that cannot be quenched by drinking water or wine. It is your soul that is crying out to be nourished. You’re disillusioned with the state of the world. You’re disappointed with the governments and politicians and corporations who have so often without a shred of conscience exploited people with less power, money and position.

You want to do something. Something real. Something lasting. Something of greater purposes and significance. You want to have impact without exploitation.

You want to overcome the greed and selfishness that seems to go along with the desire for profit. This is indeed a mystery since it will involve a profound revision and total transformation of your definition of success.

The path you are choosing now will demand total dedication with no certainty of gain, and indeed some sacrifice on your part.

It will demand surrender to faith and the need to overcome your fear of being trapped by a regime you cannot escape but extracts a great price from you – your unbridled freedom.

It will require that the free bird that you have always jealously prided yourself in being, allow itself to continue to grow in captivity, and to enter such relationships with courage, a full heart, and the belief that there is a Purpose and Plan to your life which is now unfolding.

For that you have to turn away from the world.

and the general description of Pluto into Capricorn:
_http://www.michaellutin.com/youreundersurveillance.htm

Imagine you’re having a lovely dream. Just when you're getting comfortable in that bizarre dimension, the alarm clock goes off. The telephone rings. Light peeks through your window. You squeeze your eyes shut, pull the covers over your head.

No matter how hard you try, eventually you get the joke. The dream is over.
That is exactly the vibration this year as Pluto moves into Capricorn, back into Sadge in June, and then, finally in November, into Capricorn for the next fifteen years.

Pluto rules magic. Real magic. Not Cinderella's Fairy Godmother or Hogwarts kind of magic. But real magic: the kind that turns a wispy seed into a giant redwood tree, or a gleam in a couple's eye over a glass of champagne into a beautiful bouncing baby. It can be scary, though, even devastating to those who resist inevitable no-turning back transformation. The blessings Pluto brings are often so well disguised that it takes several years after the transit to comprehend its impact, meaning and great purpose in your life.

Pluto comes along and Whammmo! Whatever you were doing you are not doing any more. At first you pretend it's not happening. It's like a knock at the door you refuse to answer. Eventually, however, Pluto plows through your reality, transforming your life. That's why it is always to your advantage to participate fully in all the changes that in time will spark tremendous growth in you mentally, emotionally and spiritually, wherever it happens to fall in your astrological chart.

It’s a reality check, a wake up call, all right, a message from the Universe asking you to get hip to exactly what you’re here for, and what you have to do if you want to do what you want to do. It’s the day job we’d love to escape, the diet we tell ourselves we’ll start tomorrow. Well, in 2008, tomorrow is today.
Adjusting to change is never easy, especially if it’s enforced, and it’s always a shock when you have to narrow your options, stick to responsibilities or accept a more centered, committed reality. Coming down to Earth always brings many long term rewards, but it takes disciplineto stay cool.
Maybe you’ve been able to speed by crisis after crisis by the skin of your teeth and come out of any trauma or threat completely unscathed. Is it denial? Well, sure, it’s denial, but where would we be without it? Where would we be if nobody defied the odds and believed what the shivering, fearful naysayers warned? If we cowered in terror at all the predictions of doomsday, would we dare to move forward?
There is, however, always a moment when the clock rings, just as we are at our coziest. No more cozy. Pluto's entrance into Capricorn wakes us u p to the pattern of attachment you never really seem to break, mainly because no matter how you fear the abandonment and pain that accompanies attachment, you cannot avoid the temptation of becoming attached–to a job, a person, your home, your income, your family or whatever else it is you chase after until you have it, then dread losing it (when you’re not wishing you could get rid of it).

Alles Gute, Laura!!! ;)
And thanx for the many things you have done!

I had a couple of days back a look in SHOTW, if I remembered your birthday right. So it is…
