Happy New Year!

What a Year we've all experienced: a year of harsh struggle for truth. And the Coming Year seems to give us a chance to learn another great lesson on the path of knowledge:

Time will tell what this power of gentleness may be.

There was a very interesting article on my favorite SoTT one week ago about the healing effect of music: Tchaikovsky's 'Nutcracker', a most beautiful New Year's legend, seems one such brilliant example of the power of gentleness. Ironically, although the forces were clearly unequal, the Nutcracker managed to defeat the King of Rats in the end and, with the power of love, the spell was broken and he became himself again.

Hope everyone had a Happy End of Year!!, and may we all continue gathering knowledge and Doing to the best of our abilities! Happy New Year to everyone because we live and learning is fun. Many, many thanks to those at the Chateau for all they have done, and continue to do against extreme odds, to guide us on our path together.

I need to stop seeing "happy new yeas days" as personal judgment day, it helps to refocus, but I do not feel quite enthusiastic in these end of December days.
