Have to move soon

Personally my favorite place to live was Sedona, AZ. It was really beautiful and far away from civilization and almost zero light pollution at night. Also there are so many great places to visit in Arizona like the Grand Canyon. There are many different temperature ranges there with the hot deserts to the south and the much colder towns up north in the mountains like Flagstaff. A big problem would be that there is not much water out there.

Another place to consider would be Georgia. Georgia doesn't really get any types of natural disasters like earthquakes, tornadoes, or hurricanes. The area north of Atlanta would be nice to be close to the city but not too close. That would be pretty close to the Smokey Mountains where Guardian is. The temperature is not too hot in GA but it is humid. The problem there is that polluted weather is blown in from the Gulf of Mexico right through GA.

I have been to Sedona and yes it was a unique kinda place, most of the southwest is.

The scenery is just gorgeous.

Unfortunately, I was "allergic" to the particular energy around Sedona and was so irritable and so cranky the whole time I was there, that my traveling companions were ready to leave me. In fact while we were there I was talked into having one of those aura photo`s taken..everyone elses were soft shades of yellows, pinks and green/blues.

Mine had so many shades of red it looked as though someone had spilled red wine on it, then tried to dab it off..

My favorite part of it, turned out to be Sedona in the rear view mirror!

Since I have lived in Massachusetts, Utah, Idaho, Colorado, Michigan, Florida and Pennsylvania and have also been too or through, most of the other states numerous times there just ain't`many surprises left, except for the Pacific coast and I just never had much of a yearning to get over there though I know that it is beautiful too.

I know there is work with the big oil companies in the Dakotas right now so anyone interested in that sort of thing might want to check that out.
But they don`t call it that the badlands for nothing either, it`s a pretty scary place.

I`m taking my time and just letting the Universe be the guide.

I also wanted to sat that I appreciate the discussion about where you all live and why you like it there and I hope it helps to narrow down the possibilities for others thinking about moving soon as well..

I've been to Sedona, AZ, back in 2006 while visiting a friend of mine and it has a great scenery. And, you're right, there's a particular energy there that tend to change everyone's mood. When we drove there, it's like we stepped into another realm or something because both my friend and I were acting very "differently" all of the sudden. They say that there's a bunch of "energy vortexes" in Sedona and that it's a "great" place to meditate. Thank goodness that we didn't stay for very long since I couldn't handle those energies there.

I was just looking at the north west section of NC on google earth and it`s really gorgeous there. Lots of water, trees and mountains. It`s a definite possibility. I really think I would like it there.

Yeah, the western NC is indeed gorgeous and I think it's a good possibility for you. I have spent the last summer and fall hiking in the mountains there because it was very beautiful that time, plus the people there was friendly. I live in central NC (Raleigh-Durham area) and it's basically all suburban/urban with a few parks. I've enjoyed my time in the mountains and would love to visit there again.

I lived there for a year and yes the energy was very intense. It often felt like I was living in a dream. The energy vortexes are very noticeable if one is sensitive to energy. Supposedly these vortexes are "positive" and there are other "positive" ones in Hawaii. Also supposedly there are "negative" vortexes in the Bermuda Triangle and some other places. By positive and negative they mean beneficial or detrimental I believe. It is claimed that this energy in Sedona brings out what is inside a person to the surface. In my experience due to this energy the people there seemed like my close friends when I had never met them before. Everyone was so energized there that visitors to Sedona sometimes felt uncomfortable.

There were tons of New Age groups/cults there which seemed very creepy and there were new age stores and psychics everywhere. Who knows what type of stuff is really going on out there.
