Because if your efforts were doomed from the start, why would further interference from the general law be necessary? That could be a sign that your efforts won't be fruitless if you keep pushing.

Digestive enzymes make all the difference and will fix your 'delicate stomach'. PLEASE read the Life Without Bread thread in its entirety. It is long, but all of the physical problems you've described can be fixed with this diet. It's up to you and no one else can do it for you.
