Hello Keto, Adios Accutane

I agree with the tea tree oil. I use it by putting it on cottonpad with water. Soak pad with water squeeze out excess and put 2 drops on the pad, it removes any any dirt or skin cells and makeup, even right after you wash your face and do the tea tree pad, there's still dirt that comes off. Castor oil works wonders for the skin, you only need like 3 drops, also if you put a tiny dot on your eyelids before sleep it gives you deep sleep and vivid dreams. I've heard castor oil packs work wonders for detoxing also. I use docotor bronnners lavender soap to wash face and body. Eating wild caught salmon 1-2 per week will help your skin a lot as well.

A little diluted apple cider vinegar helps too!
The number one thing that helped my skin is diet, if I have a little slip up I can literally see it written all over my face, even subtle changes in the shape and size.
I find being on keto means I have to moisturise less and my lips are much less dry than they used to be. My skin is softer, hair thicker and stronger and nails don't flake or break. I need to keep them short for my college course (massage) but when I let them grow over the summer they were very strong. My cells must have a healthy fatty coating now.

What did help though was changing my diet by cutting down sugars and refined carbs. After a couple of weeks, I already noticed big improvements in my skin and I would get visible flare ups when "treating" myself to chocolate or sweets. From my experience, continually moisturising the skin and staying hydrated, especially during winter, is also very important.

This is what helped in my case too. Another thing I found useful is taking milk thistle oil with vit E. Vit E is known to make the skin healthier, and milk thistle detoxifies the liver. Considering the fact that our skin can act as a canary in the mine when it comes to a toxic load up, helping the liver to remove the toxins promotes more healthier skin.
