help with occult

ok,this might sound like a stupid question but some time ago i went to see some lady to do me a tarot reading,just for fun,and it surprised me cuz,as the time passed, i noticed she guessed everything...so few years later i went to another one,an he also guessed everything...but they both said i could have much success in occult,even my natal chart says that...i'm not sure what do i do now,do i buy tarot cards, crystal sphere,ouija board and try sth??i'm still not sure if this esoteric stuff are true or it's just mumbo jumbo gibberish,or placebo efect,if someone says you'll do something you do it just beacuse they said....sry for my english,can't explain better than this...

Success is relative - if someone dabbles with "occult" things and gets in touch with STS sources that take him along for a ride, then he could be said to be successful in the sense that he has "achieved" something and made use of his abilities. But in relation to developing in another direction - striving for STO, to become more objective, Working on the self - it would however be the opposite of success.

It all depends on what you want to work towards achieving - is it to fall into a dream of being a magician, or to be awake?

A good place to start with any search is to first gain knowledge of yourself. This requires that you take responsibility for yourself and find your own answers as opposed to being told what to do by others. When you start to know yourself, you begin to acquire discernment which helps you to tell the difference between truth and lies. The first step that will help you with this regarding this forum would be to post an intro in the newbies section. There, you will be given what amounts to a map of the forum. There will be links suggested so that you can learn the basics which will help you to gain discernment and may answer many of your questions.

If you choose to post an intro there, know that it doesn't have to be long, just a little something about yourself and how you found the forum. Glad to see you here. :)

Why do you think you should try anything then? As you said, just because someone suggests something to you doesn't mean you should do it. :) Usually when I'm not sure about what decision to take, I don't do anything. I wait until I'm clear or have more information which puts me in a better position to act in my own best interests.

If you want to learn to find what's hidden, which is one of the meanings for 'occult', search for the plain truth. The rest of what passes for 'magic' is crap. :)

yes I've read the wave,but it started to annoy me after a while cuz of not so accurate answers,always something like you will see,wait,wait,wait....and i can't be patient for a long time(still working on it ),and some stuff are like reading a daily horoscope,you can interpret them as you like,just saying passing the knowledge should be more accurate than that....

I'm not sure if I understand you here, aelyrsenn. Are you saying that the information in The Wave isn't accurate? Or are you saying that the information is just 'vague'?

Could it be that you were put off by The Wave because you were expecting easy, formulaic explanations to complex, multifaceted topics?

I'm not sure if I understand you here, aelyrsenn. Are you saying that the information in The Wave isn't accurate? Or are you saying that the information is just 'vague'?

yeah,i meant vague...it's not that i don't understand complex topics (still you can always do easy,formulaic explanations no mater what the topic is),but it annoyed me C's always saying they don't perceive time as we do,but that doesn't mean they can't,they've been there,done that...so it is just like that guy who predicted the end of the world few days ago,when it didn't happened he said : ok,I was wrong,it will be 21 october , it reminds me of C's,they talk like sth big is coming,and there is still nothing happening,maybe it won't at all,but they'll say it's because of some sort of fluctuation,or influence of moon,sun,jupiter (u get the point),and that it will happen in some 20-30 years (again they can't say it accurate cuz they don't perceive the time as we do...),and when that time comes,they'll say the wave is slowed down cuz of influence of Lizzys or Pope...

Also, aelyrsenn, while you are waiting to clear your head, you might want to work on external consideration by using standard spelling and punctuation in your posts. That would be considerate of your readers, especially since English is not the primary language for many people on the forum.

The fruits of that research are Laura's historical studies, research on psychopathy and its effects on society, research into human psychology, research on optimal dietary protocols, research into meditation, etc. The Wave is a hypothesis, one which it is very difficult to verify. Rather The Wave arrives or not, many of us find a great deal of practical application in our daily lives from these topics of inspired research.

english is not my primary language too...seems to me that many people on this forum are losing focus on the stuff that really matter.

that is true.but i wish just for once someone can tell a certain thing which will definitely happen,no more hypothesis,beliefs,prophecies...i guess am not good with faith :/
