High Craziness...

Here it is :

Prayer Of The Soul

Oh Divine Cosmic Mind
Holy Awareness in All Creation
Carried in the heart
Ruler of the mind
Savior of the Soul
Live in me today
Be my Daily Bread
As I give bread to others
Help me grow in knowledge
Of All Creation
Clear my eyes
That I may See
Clear my ears
That I may hear
Cleanse my heart
That I may know and love
The Holiness of True Existence
Divine Cosmic Mind

This prayer comes from Laura...

It's beautiful! Thank you. I was thinking of doing a smudge when I get my things back in order, just to cleanse my house. I'd love to recite this as I walk through the house with my lavender smudgies burning. :)

Re: High Craziness...Just got crazier

Ok, so I don't know whether to post this here, or start a new thread. The craziness continues, and this time with a lying character-disordered person in mid-management at work.

Some background.

I was a self-employed Licensee for 9 years (working 4 days pw), 'till the Company that I work for decided they wanted to get rid of all Licensees, and either get people in my profession on board as an employee or as a Franchisee. I decided that going employed was the best out of the 2 evils. After many many many months of negotiating, some of which I followed up with an email summarising my conversation with the HR person (lets call her Swineberg), we had come to an agreement on salary and hours (or so I thought!!!).

Well, I've since found out that unbeknownst to me, the salary that I had negotiated for 4 days, due to some very fine print (in acronyms, mind you!!) on the contract, actually means that I don't get that, but only a pro-rata amount as I don't work a full 5 day week. Swineberg has avoided my calls, and when I spoke to my immediate Area manager, she was back-peddling & doing the gas-lighting (they never said that, they never meant that) etc. Swineberg has lied by omission, she has been misleading in everything she writes and says, and is slippery as an eel to pin anything down on (deliberately ambiguous).

So caveat lector indeedy. I'm trying to keep it together, but I am solely responsible for 2 kids and a dog, and this is a scary place to be. So much for spending more time networking and doing the Work! :/ Thank goodness I had some emails between us, which I have forwarded to the necessary people-regardless of what comes, I don't really want to still be with a company like this. I will pick myself up and keep on keeping on.

Oh and PS- my hair is falling out, I am molting so bad, I am actually scared I'll be bald in a few months. Any suggestions would be welcome!!

I'm sorry to hear of the difficulties you're going through, Arwenn.

Hair falling out could be stress-related (which fits your current situation), and/or related to toxicity of the body, afaik. I've read here that you've cut out gluten already and are on your way to cut out the rest and then going keto eventually. So I don't know where you're at regarding the diet now and how much detox you've been doing in general, but clearing your system from the gluten alone can take up to six months - so that's quite the work load for your body to handle.

In your reading of the diet material on the forum, have you come across the super food bone broth and/or incorporated it already? This provides the body with much needed repair material, and I'm just wondering whether that could help in your case, depending on where you're at with the diet changes currently, fwiw.

No Aiming, I am embarrassed to admit that I've backslid into my previous diet (not enough animal fat, lots of protein and some carbs, and yeah tea/coffee too :-[. ) so I'm back to square one. I pulled out some ox tail bones last night to do a batch of bone broth (yes, I've read about it and it's benefits & already thought this might help replenish my stressed tired self. This is off topic, but I really don't like the taste, I need to play around with some reciepies- well I guess I've got the time now, till I find some other work

I realized that I've been procrastinating on doing do much pending this work situation. My internal dialogue is/was "If only I can nail this contract, then I can/will..." And I am scared. I'm just going to focus on doing the things I was postponing- ie make broth, EE, network & read, as well as cast the net for a job. Maybe that'll release some blocks and get the energy going.

Thanks for your suggestion :)

Have you talked with an employment lawyer? There should be no charge for an initial consultation and, depending upon what was written in your email exchanges and your contract, a good lawyer might be able to make a call and/or write a letter that could help you. A decent one will let you retain him or her for $1 to do so, and pay a relatively nominal fee (like $50 or $100) later if they are able to back down the company for you. Of course, it could also be the case that you shouldn't have signed the contract.

If you really can't live on what little the company wants to pay you despite its promise of higher salary, you'll need to look for another job anyway, so if it terminates you for seeing a lawyer you probably can sue it for that and win. Either way, you might also be able to report the company to the state labor authority.

We used nothing but bones when we did it, and it tasted absolutely terrible. Now we throw the bones in with a chuck roast and use the broth from that.

I might try the same, otherwise it felt like I was drinking salty liquid fat essentially.

Further to my post, an update on the situation with psycho Swineberg:

After playing phone tag for 2 days, and after emailing her (with a cc to relevant managers etc) I get a call from her, innocent as all pie, like I had imagined her initial offer and I was the idiot who totally misunderstood and misrepresented what was on offer. Ugh...

My option to look for other work may be hampered by the fact that's have a restraint clause in my contract and if they seek an injunction, I will not be able to work in my local area, and it means a battle in court. That means working elsewhere (min nearest is 40 mins away) & being further away from my family. So my options are to move (which I am tired at just the thought of), or compromise.

I have been assured that I will be contacted by Friday with resolution. Bugger. If all there are is lessons, I just learned to read fine print (acronyms included) at a costly price!

Hi griffin,

Hey thanks for your suggestion. I decided to ring my professional association to see what advice they could give me, apparently Swineberg is a repeat offender, it's not the first call he's received about misunderstandings due to deliberate omissions. So I had some help penning emails, and also some legal advice if I need to go there. I will look at Fair Work Commission if need be, because I am basically out of work, unless I accede to their terms.

"We will also find precious advice, based on accumulated experience over the ages, which is particularly helpful to students of esoteric science; because once the first positive results are obtained those students will unmistakably run up against the active opposition to the law and the GAME OF THE CRAFTY ONE.

"It must be realized that in placing himself under the aegis of the Law of Exception, man goes against the General Law, which he is even called upon to overthrow, if only on an individual scale. He must not forget--under penalty of 'surprise attack'--the salvation depends on victory over the Devil, which as we have said, is the personalized moral aspect of the General Law. This is so, even though this, being a cosmic law, is naturally a divine law. One must not be afraid, as the Law of Exception is also a divine law. In choosing it, man continues to serve the interests of the whole, but differently and in an incomparably more efficient manner.

Hi Jerry,

Thanks for that info. I must admit I do find Mouravieff and Gurdjieff (what excerpts I have come upon- ISOTM is on my must read-but-have-yet-to-get-to list) hard to digest at times, but the lines in bold are what stand out for me. Well, I'd imagine that all the things advocated by the forum: networking, EE, keto diet, etc are going to be what keeps us grounded and able to deal with the consequences of 'waking up'. :/

That's interesting. What we have to do at our level parallels what life itself has to do to overcome entropy. Perhaps this pattern repeats many times at many levels, in a fractal sort of way. In any event, since life prevails against entropy, we should expect to prevail as well, through similar means.
