I can't dream.

I personally do not think I could have coped with so much abuse. I can understand when someone who has been through so much horror can be a bit touchy sometimes and occasionally lash out.
Back to the subject at hand, I don't believe I've met anyone who doesn't dream. Hmm...

Yet, the purpose of this forum and the Work we do here is to be in control of oneself. So, if one needs to lash out, it's appreciated if they can do it elsewhere and not on this forum. fwiw.

Thanks, anart, and I do understand. I know I have a nice programme running, and occasionally have a slight problem with
what I "perceive" as rather harsh sounding responses. It is getting much better with me. But when I hear about childhood abuse , it triggers a strong emotional reaction...
OK, sorry for hijacking this this thread.

No worries - it's understandable. You'd probably be shocked to know how many people here had horrific childhoods. The point is to use the present to repair the past and prepare for the future. :)

I find that if I drink a cup of caffeinated coffee before bed I will dream. Don't know if it will
work for you, though you might try it.

Hi uncommon,

You may want to know more about the harmfull effects of coffee in our bodies:
Caffeine withdrawal

Also, we recommend all new members to post an introduction in the Newbies section telling us a bit about themselves, and how they found their way here. You can read through that section to get an idea of how others have done it. Thanks. :)

I have similar "problem" either I don't dream or can't remember anything.
Well I don't know is that a problem or not but since im spending time here it would be best to see what do people here have to say abut it and maybe some had similar experience. I can't remember exact time period but it's abut 2 years that I didn't have a dream at all, before that it was normal. There was no emotional stress to produce that kind behavior or any reason that I might think of to produce that kind of stat. I thought that I might not remember my dreams but 2 years seems a bit long not to remember anything, but who knows. So maybe some of you have more knowledge of the subject and it would really be of great help to have some light on the subject since I didn't by my self get anywhere with the any explanation of why I don't have/can't remember any of it. Thx in advance.

i too had many nuclear dreams at which end a always died... it was really freaky waking up from death :D but i kinda enjoyed that... i've had many dreams that one would take for a nightmare, infact i have them every night but they've become interesting to me. I've started fighting back and sometimes even started to realize that i was capable of altering the dream and eventually the dreamworld sorta accepts me.

lately i've started to develop telekinetic powers. it just sorta happened and and now sometimes i remember during a dream that i can do that and it helps immensely to fight off the demons. I'ts kinda like taking a stand to yourself. for many years now I nolonger fear the dreamworld but sometimes even look forward to it:).

it's a process that i believe we all can master :halo: good luck

ouh hjea and weed definitively makes you sleep to fast for dreaming

...and makes you sleep even more deeply while supposedly 'awake'. Its use is opposed to any useful work on oneself and is discouraged.

In case this isn't yet another troll thread (silly ban, uncommon, etc.), there has been discussed ‘dream work’ on the forum.
See: http://cassiopaea.org/forum/index.php?topic=17503.0
It's worth reading it (practising too).

Have you been on any mind altering drugs, prescription or non?

No, I didn't use any drugs whatsoever my entire life, that only brings more confusion on the mater...

Thx Sirus for the info...

I also had a short phase a couple of months ago when I noticed that I hadn't been able to recall my dreams for a long time.
Sleeping at the right time, getting enough sleep and practicing EE helped me with dream recall after waking.
I also noticed that I always remembered dreams when I still wore nicotine patches when I fell asleep. But then sometimes the nicotine patches interfered with getting a deep and restful sleep which I attributed to my brain still being stimulated by the nicotine patch.
