I Just Wanted To Say....

Thank you all.

I have that rare gift, that of which remembers everyone who has helped me get through some of the worst and the best times of my life for the past, few years.

Moving from Alabama after the oil spill, letting go of a relationship, my dad dying, and raising a rather large family by myself...etc.

I don't know how I could have gotten through all of this without all of the tools here, the friends here, and the knowledge here.

Happy New Year! :)

Thank you Dawn--you too.

I was just getting ready to begin a new thread--Auld Lang Sang--loosely translated to "old times past," but I think
I will add my thoughts and sentiments to yours instead.
Indeed if home is where the heart is then our forum and Fellowship are home to me now.

I began the day feeling fairly positive and contemplative, then downloaded and listened to
Mari Campbell's version of Auld Lang Sang http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zQ1TyezAlY0
which is so beautiful it let loose a torrent of pent-up sorrow and loss I was not aware was lurking
in my heart. So I wrote in my journal and had a powerful catharsis over some exceptionally
powerful losses I experienced this 2012 year.

If you are in the mood for remembrances then download this song and experience the
most loveliest of ways to say goodbye to the old year and the times gone by.

To the New Year my friends . . .

A happy hogmanay, when it comes, to you dawn and all the kind souls here! :)

Thanks for that song shelly, it's a traditional piece that always gets played here in Scotland, so having been brought up with it, it brings a wee smile!

:flowers: :wizard:

Thanks for this thread. Yes, Happy New year to everybody here. I really don't know what this last year would have been without this group. I am so grateful. Thank you.
:hug2:

Beautiful version. Yes, we sang it at midnight here!

Happy new year, Dawn, Shelly, Laura, everyone at the chateau and in the fellowship... May 2013 bring all of us even closer to the truth and awakening.

Over here, there was just us two at our usual dinner and a few extra desserts to sweeten up the occasion a little while the rest of the world were clamouring outside to get the best spots to watch fireworks at midnight, as usual... We wonder what more significant fireworks from the heavens await us this year ;)

Thanks for the beautiful song!

Never heard of it as it's not a traditional tune where I live, just heard awhile ago when I was following some James Taylor performances on youtube.

Happy New Year to All :wizard: :hug2:

By the 6Th note I was tearing up. Thanks for the beautiful song. Needed it and Happy New Years to you Shellycheval. You are one of the members that have helped me, as with many others.
