Yeah I was thinking the same thing myself because a meter maid on foot would know of the same area they travel everyday and they could also see the plastic on the pavement much easier. Then again, the meter maids in nyc are so dense that I could probably pull that trick over on some of them! :P Still it was a pretty funny idea!
