I think this is related to the 2012 film. Indeed it would be ridiculous to think that this institute is financed part of the film.
When I read "about THC" I could see that this is just COINTELPRO

I tried to make some reseach about some of the staff but I didn't find much. This seem to me like a top of the iceberg of the consorsium getting out of the closet

If you click on the tiny "Terms of Service" link at the bottom of the web page, it tells you that the site is owned by "Sony Pictures Entertainment". So the site is obviously part of some viral marketing campaign for the "2012" movie.

Ah, that explains it. It reminded me a lot of Nancy Lieder's movie about "Nibiru".

What is up with the IHC lottery?! Sounds ridiculous, and they even have some quotas for each continent - reminded me of US Green Card Lottery
