One my FB friend sent me few days ago some pictures that he shoot few days ago in Japan. He saw something unusual and he dont have any explanation what it could be.
I dont know what it could be. On first look it looks like a rock. Maybe he have shot some space rock failing from the sky. Like the rock filmed in this video while man was jumping with parachute.

I really don't know, and it looks interesting to me so i decide to post the images here( of course with his approval to publish them online)

Something is odd with the lighting of the object. The shadows are from the side of the sun. Or maybe it just looks like that to me. Then if it was a meteorite, it must drop with a very high speed , and there is no motion blur on the picture. Then it looks too white. I dont know. :umm:

It reminds me of something I saw on this link:

It looks strange to me also, but i dont think its computer graphics. I work with 3D CG more then 10 years and this dont look like that.More possible to me will be some kind of dirt on the camera sensor , or peace of sand on it .If you look the picture you will see that the light did not match the surrounding.

After i published images here i tried to examine little more the pictures and i find out that the dark circular spot at the upper right corner of the picture is definitely dust from sensor.

See an examples:

Maybe the white object/ spot is also some kind of dirt or maybe even a litle piece of sand in the sensor. This theory is most plausible to me.

Or maybe some kind of bird that is out of focus.

Likewise i thinks it looks like a little pyramid falling from the sky - the black smudge on the right hand corner, is definitely a dust spot on the camera lenses, as this happens quite often with SLRs, especially when changing lenses.

I'm not talking about the black stain that is on the right side of the photograph, a little closer to the center of the image there is something white with dark cover, less than black spots

Thanks casper, yes i saw the little white image near the centre of the pic as well, and to me it looked like a little pyramid as mentioned - hope this is the same object we are all referring too...
