Iridescent clouds

Just saw some of these type of clouds this morning (10:30 - 11:30 am) in Albuquerque.
They were fast-moving and pretty low, the lowest in sky at the time anyway.

here is a url to the pictures I took

Interestingly, I had just come across this article shortly before reading your post, anart.

Lets hope they are not the same type of clouds!

Yep, a few of those pics are very close to what I saw. Have you seen them before in Albuquerque?

So beautiful!!!

It's unusual to me, as I've only seen the tips of clouds have that irridecent rainbow look and that seemed rare. But this is over Mount Everest is way cool!

Just wanted to note that I witnessed these types of 'rainbow' or iridescent clouds over Colorado yesterday afternoon. They weren't as widespread as those appear to be in the article, but they were gorgeous, but definitely not usual (at least in my experience). Heavenly haze: Remarkable rainbow cloud towers over Mount Everest

No, I haven't seen them before in Albuquerque or anywhere else, other than in photos online.
