Irrational behavior pattern of several people

There's now 3 instances that I came across in the last few days where somebody is going off the rails and all instances are related to a real estate transaction (2 transactions are in the last 2 years and one is recent).

Example 1 is a voice mail my wife received through a wrong number dial a couple of days ago - this person was trying to dial an real estate office number but dialed my wife instead. I was able to figure out that the property in question sold almost 2 years ago.
Here's an edited version of transcript having taken out some identifying information:

Hello <name>, this is the Queen of England. I'm also a Queen of Australia. I'm a high-monarch with diplomatic community. I'm married into the title of Queen of Job Israel. My property cannot be sold. You do an illegal sale of my property for <address of house>.
My property cannot be sold because my property is the Queen's history. So you're all going to federal prison by order of the Queen...by order of the United Nations...by order of the European Union...by order of Oxford University...by order of Buckingham. You're going to federal prison.

Example 2 is an email I received yesterday from somebody asking for an attorney referral to deal with the following:

A seller tried to invade into a property that was closed almost two years ago and yelled screamed to the new property homeowner and her previous listing agent claimed that her property was sold less than the market value. She threatened them with abuse bad words attacks that affect their peaceful life. The temporary RO was granted by the court house. However the being attacked party has been trying very hard to identify this crazy person’s address in order to serve the docs from court before appearing to the court date in order to receive formal Restraining order. Title company could not locate this person. For the safety of the new homeowner and the listing agent action to hire a good attorney is needed asap.

Example 3 is a conversation I just had with a client who described a situation across the street from her, where a woman refused to move out of a house after the sale of a home and apparently my client overheard a very recent screaming match between said woman and some other party.
Attorneys are getting involved and the situation is sounding far from rational.

Examples 1 and 3 are recent and #2 must be relatively recent given the urgent request for an attorney.
I don't know "what is in the water" right now but especially after having talked to my client this morning, this all came across as very weird.

Wow, this could possibly be one of the members of a strange, disturbing cult following that has been on my radar, since 2020!

I did have access to one of her groups telegram channel, and observed that she has QAnon followers all over the world, and during the time I was able to view,(I got deleted, they must have noticed I never participated or posted, )she appointed many to Royal positions such as the caller claims, on your recording!

Here is a video of a news story that was aired last fall.
By watching the first minute or two, will give you a look at her, and and when you hear her voice, I’d be curious if the “caller” you recorded spoke in the same clipped way.

1 and 2 sound like AI scam attempts.

I have been getting weird text messages that I can tell are written to sound human, all scams attempting to get information to sell it or to aim at fraud. Believe it or not, they can capture some individuals.

Number 3, I have heard a few cases like that in a few places, specially in NYC, where tenants that refuse to leave, can't be kicked out at all and people can simply stay put paying no rent.

No scam for either 1 or 2
1 - I have name and phone number for this person (from caller id) and I found online a case where her ex husband was in court getting a restraining order against her. Info in voicemail matches up with address mentioned.
2 - I talked to the person requesting the referral...this is an actual situation.

@domi Hello, several ideas come to mind:

• your title says it all - I see this as "the world view being insufficient"
• @Debra 's comment shows that people browse the web, find low-level material, without safety net, and integrate this to the world view (UFO, Qanon, etc)
• those events come and go, for me. It seems to vary depending on the media panorama. As if we would be holding a citizen thermometer and that it's a period where it's hot

Last idea: I read in Lobaczewski that during phases of hysteria, that the elite is somehow on the front line:

Well, Harrison KOEHLI, a crack on those matters, said that the movement called "pathocracy" stopped (in our time, I mean). Such a motion features the above "steps", and for it to reach a "mature pathocracy", where it's kind of a totalitarian situation, there is this phase of hysteria, and the "elites" seem to play a part. I would then say that what you see could be the last bursts of it, and that it could settle down. We would see some readjusting of people who were on the verge of making things go worse.

well, we call it "folie des grandeurs" , "groessenwahnsinn". in the past they were interned. now, internet allows them to become "galactical". wow. and the followers are just as nuts. perhaps we need a new DEI category??

Well, mental issues and a breakdown turn out to be almost the same thing.

I have noticed weird behavior in some individuals, nothing quite as extreme, but it's like there's heightened pressure that is testing people's stability to the breaking point in some instances.

I am not sure where else to post this. I have just experienced a surreal situation.

My partner and I are currently in France, we were out for dinner and were walking back to our place. I noticed this guy ahead of us who appeared somewhat agitated and kept looking behind as if he was being followed. This was on a busy street. He kept looking back to such an extent that he stopped paying attention to what was in front of him and he nearly walked onto an incoming cyclist. Anyways, thinking back, I didn't think much of it as he was kind of in the periphery of my attention but I definitely clocked this weird behaviour.

Anyways, the guy stopped at some point and was just stood there. Didn't think much of it. My partner and I took a turn to get to our place and we were just walking minding our business and I wasn't thinking much. Anyways, for some reason my partner remembered she wanted to stop by a shop to get something just as we were passing one which was on the opposite side of the street. She stopped abruptly and turned to cross the road and I followed her.

Anyways as I turn, guess who I see on the opposite side of the road trailing us!!! This guy comes to an abrupt halt to and my partner walks right past him into the shop. I'm behind her and this time this guy is definitely front and center of my attention... he's frozen in place literally staring at me as I walk towards him. It's all a trance at this point.

Anyways, I walk past him and into the shop and immediately tell my partner that we are being followed. She's quite surprised as she hadn't clocked the guy.

Anyways we spend some time in the shop and when we come out I'm definitely looking for any sight of this guy as if he was anywhere on the street I'd have had to take some action. Anyways, the guy wasn't there anymore.

This to me was a stern reminder to be paying attention to weird behaviour when out and about and not necessarily discarding it from your attention as if my partner hadn't decided to go to the shop, this guy would have literally followed us all the way back to our place.

The dude also didn't fit your "stalker" profile. Slender build, early 50s, looked french, just a regular person on the street was it not for his weird behaviour.

It's definitely surreal when you clock someone following you and they clock that you've clocked them !

It's funny though, at no point has my partner noticed this guy. Not the weird behaviour of him constantly looking back when he was in front of us, not him and the cyclist nearly colliding and not when she turned to go to the shop and literally walked right past him as he stopped on the spot too like he'd been caught stalking and was expecting a confrontation.

Very true you need to be aware where ever you are now. Out of interest had you both been drinking? I just wondered if that's why your partner hadn't noticed him?

She just had one glass of wine with dinner.

I watched a video a while back where a guy showed CCTV footage of someone being attacked on the street, and I also remember seeing some CCTV footage of someone in London who walked onto a street where a terrorist was walking around stabbing people. The one thing both footages had in common was that the victims weren't paying attention. In the first footage someone walked up behind the victim on the street and put them on a chokehold and in the second, the victim was looking at his phone walking down a street when the terrorist was walking right up to him holding a knife very visibly.

Anyways, the guy who showed the first video said to always have your head on a swivel when out and about and to make good use of your peripheral vision. Tonight was just a reminder to me to remain vigilant out here !
