Is Nelson Mandela dead?

The Force is Strong With This One
I just thought I should share this peace of information we currently getting here in South Africa even though I am not very sure of its value. The moderators must feel free to remove this thread if they judge it irrelevant for the forum.

The thing is that there is a serious news currently circulating underground here saying that the old man Nelson Mandela has passed away since last week or early this week. There is no unanimity as to the real cause of his "hypothetical' death. Some sources say that he passed away in a military plane crashed that was announced sometime last week and which killed a dozen of military personnel, while others say that he was suffering from lung cancer since a few years, and which has finally taken his life.

The government's conflicting messages about the current health condition of Nelson Mandela continue to raise many conspiracy theories. They keep changing their official statements to the public and this is raising many suspicions. The first official statement was that Mandela was suffering from a "mild" infection in the lungs, that he was taken to an undisclosed hospital for treatment and that everything was going well. A few days latter, the government spokesperson indicated that they have made a mistake and that the old man's condition was deteriorating. Early today we were told that there was nothing to fear and that everything is under control.

Certain sources indicate that he was taken to a military hospital under a pseudonym and that there is a high security level on those premises. Conspiracy theorists speculate that the reason why the ruling party (ANC) does not want to announce this news is because they are expecting to organize the party's conference in Mangaung which is due to happen shortly, and they rightly fear that the news of the death of Mandela will disrupt certain high interests in the people currently in power.

Whatever the case, the thing is that currently everyone is under confusion as to what exactly has happened to Tata Madiba, but we get the feeling that something serious may have happened to him and is being covered by the government for the time being. Anyway, I will keep you posted to the development of this situation.

I think for what i've seen on the news that maybe his healt has become very bad and knowing that he is a very important and loved person in south africa and in the rest of the world, they are not going to say that he is dying until that Really happen.. Remember he is in an advanced age so if he's healt is deteriorating that would be not a surprise... This is only my point of view of course!

Mandela is very very old, and all that rumor mongering around the poor guy while he is probably dying and should be allowed to die in peace is revolting.

Agreed. He's been through enough for three lifetimes in one.

I just found a very interesting web with a lot of stories: _ttp://mandelaeffect.com/nelson-mandela-died-in-prison
