Is this building disapeared or what?

The day before yesterday a building of 5 floors seemed to have disappeared killing 2 women and 5 people are still missing. Now: the authorities say that the building was under renovation, they don't know exactly what is the cause of the "collapse" they say. But when you look at the pictures you can see that the building is totally gone! Where are the rumbles of this 5 store building? Made of cement for sure? I think this is very odd. You can look at the pictures and figure it out. Another thing: if the column that supports the building was cut for any reason (they were doing some renovations at the first and second flood), can this made this building disappear?

There is an article at Sott.net where you can see some videos.

In this photo you can see the depth between the main road and the places where are firefighters.
Perhaps the collapsed building had space (basement) level in the main road, so it's all collapsed material is actually leveled with the ground floor?

I really don't know Casper. I just don't see a lot of material for a building of these proportions. For me it is very strange. One of the men who was there, a reporter from a radio, he said when arriving in the site that he thought it was a terrorist attack that just happened. Or a big explosion. I hear this morning that they have found 3 others corpses this morning. 5 are still missing.

Are there any other reports about it? Do other people question the official story, or see any strangeness?

In this pictures I can see quite a lot of material. Maybe the view where the photos were taken in your post and the stacking tend to confuse a little bit.

A gas leak, said some witnesses, link:

In fact it is a big, big tragedy. 7 deaths and now they say that 11 are missing. Some of the dead people are strangers from Morocco, Finland, Italy. This a very sad. :( Concerning what happened I am the only one who question the official story... :halo: because even if it was a gas leak... But how come nobody smelled the gas? What type of gas? Is gas leak make explode a building? Anyway, for now they don't know exactly what happened. More than 200 people are trying to find corpses under the rumble. Thank you for the pictures Eol. And thanks for your answers my friends.

I think bad construction is one thing to take into account here. Concrete reinforcement seems to be sparse, if not even lacking in some cases... Look at the pillars seen in some pictures. The reinforcement jutting out of them is a "joke" at best.

This video was taken shortly after the collapse.
The materials remaining certainly appear to be very insubstantial, but looking at the adjacent building, the floors appeared to be quite thick, but there appear to be no supports as you would expect.
Quite possibly the explosion pulverised everything.

I would not like to be living in the adjacent buildings, they appear to be similarly constructed.

The last news is that they were doing works inside and they didn't have a license for it. No more information. The sum of deaths are 7. Here is another view of the accident. But as I said, it seems to me that is it like everything disappeared even if it was a very big building, 5 floors! Were are these 5 floors? You can have some detritus but where is the rest? This is for me very strange... But I am completely an ignorant about edification.
