Israel-Palestine War: Hamas Breaks Out of Gaza, Israel Responds With Genocide

Best time to strike, the whole world is watching the Superbowl and waiting on Taylor Swift.

No one will even notice..

Heavy Israeli strikes hit Gaza's southern city of Rafah

A series of Israeli strikes early Monday hit Rafah, the city on the southern edge of the Gaza Strip killing 52 people, according to the Hamas-ruled territory's health ministry. The strikes hit 14 houses and three mosques in different parts of Rafah. Read our live blog for all the latest developments on the Israel-Hamas war.

Any Israeli ground offensive on Rafah will “blow up” the captive exchange negotiations, the Al-Aqsa television channel quoted a senior Hamas leader as saying on Sunday.

US President Joe Biden tells Israeli President Benjamin Netanyahu that a military assault would need a “safety” plan for more than 1 million people sheltering in Rafah.

Egypt warned on Sunday of "dire consequences" of a potential Israeli military assault on Rafah, which is near its border. Two Egyptian officials and a Western diplomat said Cairo threatened to suspend its peace treaty with Israel if troops are sent into the severely overcrowded city, the Associated Press reported.

Yep,

Just came across the same as of right now, 100 death are being reported from this attack alone. The attacks impacted homes and the mosques, 230 wounded.

Netanyahu is justifying it by saying that there are 4 Hamas battalions in Rafa, which excuse the French, but sounds like complete BS, the truth is that he could've said anything and he still would've carried out the attack, and no one will bat an eyelash. A few videos below from RT

Not only that. From my morning perusal of the news, I found out about 2 superbowl ads that made my stomach turn, aware of what was going on in Gaza at the same time. I won't post the videos, it doesn't feel right to me, but I'll describe them:

emotionally manipulative ad no 1: a woman living in a suburban, affluent (from the looks of it) american neighbourhood walks with her little daughter to their car when they see inscribed on their white garage door the phrase "No Jews" next to a swastica. Their neighbour sees their upset and by the time they return home that same afternoon he has painted over it and the woman whispers "Thank you" to him. She doesn't have to explain to her little girl anymore about the constant hate jews experience everyday in this world and we are all called to stand up to jewish hate. No mention that antisemitism is so rare that jews have to create it once in a while just to remind the rest of us that it exists.

emotionally manipulative ad no 2: we see images of dads with their children, the funny dad, the silly, the strong one, blah blah. Beautiful everyday fathers-and-children moments. As the ad comes to an end we are reminded of the dads that have been held hostages for 120 days and we are being assured they will be brought home. No mention of the fact that these are soldiers, that their training and job is the destruction of Palestine and Palestinian lives. No mention either of the hostages killed by the israeli army itself. No mention that several released israeli hostages reported that they felt more protected by their kidnappers than by their own army.

And there you have it. Along with american football, hot dogs and taylor swift, millions of people last night got served propaganda that would have made Goebbels proud (if he wasn't horrified that it was created by jews!) while Israel, using american arms and money, started bombing the tiniest of "safe" areas of the already tiny Gaza Strip, where half the Palestinian population remains trapped. 🤬🤬🤬

Yes, although this has been all over the US for months now, every other YouTube ad is about Israel and their plight, and they have even purchased a few highway banner signs where I live with the same rhetoric, and the same emotional traps.

Apparently it was somehow made in the context of the super bowl, but I've no clue what it is about, still.. creepy, cringey and wrong.. but also, evil looking.
In the context of the super ball massacre. No matter how much they try to pretend, they make themselves known. There is so much evil in their guts that they cannot longer contain it.

He/they government.

Biden refers to "our military operation in Rafah." He corrects
If we could see Blinken's face it would be like "! noo again 😣"

And here is Josep Borrell in a statement that clearly begins to back away from what is coming, which are , genuine accusations of genocide that are not hidden or disguised as the Israeli army has attacked hospitals, schools and refugee shelters with the complicity of the United States and the resounding silence of the international community.

EU's Josep Borrell calls on states to 'provide less arms' to Israel

Josep Borrell, the EU foreign policy chief, has urged states to stop arming Israel if they want to stop Palestinian civilians being killed in Gaza.

Speaking on Monday, Borrell was responding to US President Joe Biden's statement that Israel's conduct in its military campaign in the besieged enclave was "over the top".

"Well, if you believe that too many people are being killed, maybe you should provide less arms in order to prevent so many people having been killed,"
the EU chief diplomate said. "Is [it] not logical?"

Borel was speaking in Brussels alongside Philippe Lazzarini, head of the UN agency for Palestinian refugees, Unrwa.

"How many times have you heard the most prominent leaders and foreign ministers around the world saying too many people are being killed?" Borrell asked."If the international community believes that this is a slaughter, that too many people are being killed, maybe we have to think about the provision of arms."
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Sunday that Israel plans to press ahead with a ground invasion of the southern city - where 1.5 million Palestinians are currently sheltering - despite international opposition.
The premier said that the densely packed city needed to be "evacuated" ahead of the land operation.

“They are going to evacuate – where? To the moon? Where are they going to evacuate these people?” Borrell asked.

When I can, I always visit my Palestinian friend, who has a linen shop. It was his father who fled Palestine when Israel was created, around the 50s. My friend was born here but is Palestinian in heart and mind. What's happening in Gaza affects him enormously, and what's more he has family, an uncle, in the West Bank. Yesterday we talked a bit about the Great Israel. Then he said something that I didn't 'get' at the moment. He said "I'm starting to get scared". I thought his fear was unfounded, as we live in Spain. But that evening at home I understood what he was saying and tomorrow, if I can, I'm going to go and see him and tell him that I've understood his fear. Because his fear is a reminder of how Jews were persecuted everywhere during the war, the second war, not just in Germany but all over Europe. And now, with this genocide, it's the Palestinians who are being persecuted. Will they be persecuted everywhere?

How is the Palestinian diaspora living through this genocide? Are they afraid? How far will this ethnic cleansing go?

We're not Palestinians, but I can understand his fear, even if after uttering the sentence he changed it to say that he was advising his children never to set foot in Israel again, never ever.

I am not going to say it is an unfounded fear because this ethnic cleansing must be undermining the very DNA of every Palestinian, what I do see is that for Israel this is going to be a boomerang on its people, in fact, I met an Israeli recently who when he introduced himself said he was from Tel Aviv clearly fearing the rejection and shame he himself must feel of being Israeli or because of what your government has done. It is a very painful lesson especially for those directly involved. My father has a phrase and it is: "if you are afraid buy a dog" 😊 ,that is, You have to be brave in the face of adversity, I think your friend could collaborate in some way to other Palestinians to try to release the pain or uncertainty that overwhelms him.

Q: (L) Well, sometimes bringing the truth out into the open gets you into deep trouble.

A: And sometimes not getting it out in the open gives others hope to keep you from doing it. Once it's out in the open, you're safer because at that point any "attack" only justifies and validates you.
