Israel-Palestine War: Hamas Breaks Out of Gaza, Israel Responds With Genocide

The Israeli air force drops a 1-ton US bomb on a refugee camp that Israel promised not to bomb.
Mawasi, in Khan Younis, located in the south of the Gaza Strip. The Netanyahu government had catalogued it as a “safe zone” months ago. Now it is being bombed.

US walks back Israel arms-embargo threat
The US State Department has announced that it will not withhold arms shipments to Israel despite the Jewish state failing to meet a set of conditions Washington said were mandatory for these shipments to continue.
In a briefing on Tuesday, State Department spokesman Vedant Patel told reporters that Israel had taken some, but not all, of the steps set out in a letter from Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin to Israel’s defense and strategic affairs ministers last month.
The war in Gaza has been conducted almost entirely with American weapons and $18 billion in U.S. taxpayer dollars.

The letter warned Israel that unless steps were taken to improve the humanitarian situation in Gaza within 30 days, the US would stop supplying the country with weapons, as US law forbids the transfer of arms to countries that prevent aid from reaching civilians.

And likewise, despite the ultimatum sent to Israel by Biden, here is a frame of the video of one of the bombs being dropped on Gaza.

UN special committee likens Israeli policy in Gaza to genocide
It is clear that the UN could no longer hide the obvious, and have accepted that Israel commits genocide but will not take any action. To the list of inoperatives, one could also say the same of Human Rights Watch (HRW) who in a new report concluded that :
“The Israeli government cannot claim to be keeping Palestinians safe when it kills them along escape routes, bombs so-called safe zones, and cuts off food, water, and sanitation. Israel has blatantly violated its obligation to ensure Palestinians can return home, razing virtually everything in large areas,” according to HRW migrant rights researcher Nadia Hardman.

HRW called for immediate international action against Israel, including sanctions, travel bans, asset freezes, and suspensions of arms sales and military assistance.
The Cradle

Others who are joining in and advocating are Amnesty International which accused Israel of the war crime of “wanton destruction”, something that has been shared on social networks and documented on this website, i.e., it does not take reporting or travel to Palestine (as they do not allow entry) to realize that genocide is not only being committed now but has been going on for a long time.
The Israeli military’s campaign to significantly expand a “buffer zone” along the eastern perimeter of the occupied Gaza Strip should be investigated as the war crimes of wanton destruction and of collective punishment, Amnesty International said in a new investigation. (...)

“The Israeli military’s relentless campaign of ruin in Gaza is one of wanton destruction. Our research has shown how Israeli forces have obliterated residential buildings, forced thousands of families from their homes and rendered their land uninhabitable,” said Erika Guevara-Rosas, Amnesty International’s Senior Director for Research, Advocacy, Policy and Campaigns.

“The creation of any ‘buffer zone’ must not amount to the collective punishment of the Palestinian civilians who lived in these neighbourhoods. Israel’s measures to protect Israelis from attacks from Gaza must be carried out in conformity with its obligations under international law, including the prohibition of wanton destruction and of collective punishment.”
Amnesty International

As far as Israel is concerned, it appears to have recognized a “complete evacuation” which reveals the admission of a systematic expulsion from the north as well as the destruction of infrastructure, including entire residential blocks, schools and universities.
Israeli IDF “ General Itzik Cohen explained at a press conference last week. “There is no intention to allow the residents of the northern Gaza Strip" Cohen added that aid deliveries will not enter the north because “there are no civilians left.”

Still just words. But they seem to be growing legs and walking. Also of interest is the term Borrell used of "Illegal Settlements"

Pope Francis openly urges investigation of genocide allegations over Israel’s actions in Gaza

Story by Giada Zampano

Pope Francis has called for an investigation to determine if Israel’s attacks in Gaza constitute genocide, according to excerpts released from an upcoming new book ahead of the pontiff’s jubilee year.

It is the first time that Francis has openly urged for an investigation of genocide allegations over Israel’s actions in the Gaza Strip.

In September, he said Israel’s attacks in Gaza and Lebanon have been “immoral” and disproportionate, and that its military has gone beyond the rules of war.

The book, by Hernan Reyes Alcaide and based on interviews with the pope, will be released on Tuesday.

“According to some experts, what is happening in Gaza has the characteristics of a genocide,” the pope said in excerpts published on Sunday by the Italian daily La Stampa.

“We should investigate carefully to determine whether it fits into the technical definition formulated by jurists and international bodies,” he added.

Last year, Francis met separately with relatives of Israeli hostages in Gaza and Palestinians living through the war and set off a firestorm by using words that Vatican diplomats usually avoid: “terrorism” and, according to the Palestinians, “genocide”.

Francis spoke at the time about the suffering of both Israelis and Palestinians after his meetings, which were arranged before the Israeli-Hamas hostage deal and a temporary halt in fighting was announced.

The pontiff, who last week also met a delegation of Israeli hostages who were released, had editorial control over the book.

The war started when the militant Hamas group attacked Israel on October 7 2023, killing 1,200 people and abducting 250 as hostages and taking them back to Gaza, where dozens still remain.

Israel’s subsequent military campaign has killed more than 43,000 people, according to Gaza health officials, whose count does not distinguish between civilians and fighters, though they say more than half of the dead are women and children.

The Israel-Hamas conflict in Gaza has triggered several legal cases at international courts in The Hague involving requests for arrest warrants as well as accusations and denials of war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide.

Israel rejected the court’s ruling, and the prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, claimed that his country’s commitment to international law was “unwavering”.
Unwavering in the WRONG direction. Sadly the default of a psychopath is always to lie. I have a sneaking suspicion that Bibi has outlived his 'usefulness' to the Israeli regime. His fellow psychopaths are about to sacrifice him and throw him under a bus, or maybe on top of a bomb. It will naturally be blamed on the Iranians.

Isn't it a bit late to say something mate? Lounging around in that silly white outfit..

From what I've read Bergoglio is not the true pope, Ratzinger is still the pope. Evidently in his "resignation" letter Ratzinger used some slight of hand in his wording, which when really studied, means his hands were tied or in other words, he was forced out.
Cardinal Ratzinger became Pope Benedict XVI and died on 31 December 2022 having previously resigned from the office of Pope after pressure from a number of influential world figures including Henry Kissinger, George Soros, Bill and Hilary Clinton, Barak Obama, Angela Merkel and John Podesta to name but a few. Supposedly, his resignation was linked to major issues with the operation of the Vatican Bank but may have been for other ulterior motives - like opposing the agenda of the New World Order. When President Trump was previously in office, five senior lay American Catholics wrote to him asking that the above named should be investigated for their role in bringing about the resignation of Benedict, who, as pope, was the head of state for the Vatican which enjoys the status of a country (toppling heads of state is an infringement of the UN Charter).

Under the Church's Canon Law, when a pope resigns, he is supposed to cease wearing the white cassock of the pope, to smash his papal ring of authority and retire completely from public office to a monastery or similar institution. He is not supposed to write any official letters or religious tracts. Benedict did none of these things but instead continued to wear the white cassock of the pope and wear his papal ring, taking on the completely unofficial title of Pope Emeritus for which there is absolutely no precedent or authority in the Church's long history. Moreover, his official letter of resignation written in Latin contained over 50 mistakes, which for one of the foremost Latin scholars in the Church was completely out of character, leading many to see a hidden signal within the letter. Many observers believe that Pope Benedict only intended to transfer the day-to-day running matters of the papal office to Cardinal George Bergoglio, now Pope Francis, and not the authority or charism of the pope. It is my understanding that Pope Francis has never sat on the papal throne, nor does he live in the official papal quarters but I could be wrong,

As to Mantle's query about Benedict being the last pope, I think he is referring to the prophecies of the Irish saint Malachi who used coded symbolism to name all the popes from his own era onwards. It is my understanding that the last pope is referred to as 'Peter the Roman', which would seem to exclude Pope Francis, as he is an Argentinian, albeit of Italian stock. This makes a kind of circular sense since it would mean that the papacy which started with a Peter will end with a Peter. To date, there has only been one Pope Peter and that is the Apostle Peter.

I hope this clarifies matters for you.

Yes I was referring to the much contested prophesies of St Malachi with his coded symbolism and yes Pope Francis does not live in the Papal quarters nor sat in the Papal Throne. This is widely understood to be so and carries deep symbolism. There are those, very knowledge able, that came to believe through the beginnings and progressing stages of the Vatican Two Council on October 1962 , that Rome involved the Church in a Reform whose true name is Apostasy. Same believe today that Modernism has become Pope and that the present more expanded outcome is to accomplish this on a worldwide basis through the United Nations. Away with Jesus has been heard before and also today when we seem to be approaching an almost inconceivable disaster.

Disappointing but not shocking, given the insidious reach of Zionists.

Gives the the thinkings that Trump being elected was a consciously planned and well executed ‘plan B’
A wolf in sheep’s clothing, may be!

+ The United States has exercised its right of veto in the UN Security Council and blocked a draft resolution on the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, with a demand for an immediate and unconditional cease-fire in the Gaza Strip.
The document was supported by 14 of the 15 members of the Security Council. It is the fifth time Washington has blocked resolutions with provisions for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip since the Middle East conflict escalated in October 2023.
The US claims it vetoed the resolution because it was not linked to an unconditional release of Israelis taken captive by the Palestinian resistance in Gaza on 7 October, 2023. Instead, the ongoing meeting is based off of Resolution 2735 drafted in June 2024 which also calls for "the exchange of Palestinian prisoners, withdrawal of Israeli forces from the populated areas in Gaza, the return of Palestinian civilians to their homes, and the safe and effective distribution of humanitarian assistance at scale throughout Gaza."
reuters
The draft resolution was prepared by the ten non-permanent members of the Security Council and consists of nine paragraphs, containing “the demand for an immediate, unconditional and permanent ceasefire respected by all parties”, the release of all hostages held in the enclave, respect for international law and access to humanitarian aid for the civilian population of Gaza.
Washington was alone in voting against the resolution, drawing strong condemnation from other Security Council members who say the US is 'assuming full responsibility' for the mass killing of tens of thousands of civilians.

“No outrageous anti-Israel decision will prevent us –- and it will not prevent me –- from continuing to defend our country in every way,” Netanyahu said in a video statement. “We will not yield to pressure,” he vowed.
Earlier, Netanyahu compared the ICC’s decision to “a modern-day Dreyfus trial”, referring to an infamous 19th century case in which French Jewish army captain Alfred Dreyfus was unfairly convicted of treason.
He said Israel “rejects with disgust the absurd and false actions and accusations made against it”.
The judges were “driven by anti-Semitic hatred of Israel”, he said.
Netanyahu alleged that the warrants were an attempt by ICC Chief Prosecutor Karim Khan “to save himself from serious accusations of sexual harassment”. Khan has denied the allegations.

President israel, Isaac Herzog:
“This is a dark day for justice. A dark day for humanity. The ICC's outrageous and bad faith decision has made universal justice a laughing stock around the world. It makes a mockery of the sacrifices of all those fighting for justice, from the Allied victory over the Nazis to the present day.”

Hamas stated in a document following the issuance of an arrest warrant against the Hebrew country's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu:
Hamas calls on the court in The Hague to expand the scope of investigations and prosecution of the criminal leaders of the [Israeli] occupation who are guilty of terrorism against the Palestinian people and the spread of hunger” in the Gaza Strip, according to a published document.

In this regard, the group believes that the ICC verdict is “an important historical precedent and a correction of the injustice against the Palestinian people.” The radicals called on all countries to cooperate with the Hague court to “expose the crimes” of the Israeli authorities.
Hungary opposes the court's decision and considers it wrong; The Hungarian side is ready to invite Netanyahu to Budapest for talks, guaranteeing him security and immunity.

The International Criminal Court arrest warrant for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu must be "respected and implemented" by EU members, says the EU Foreign Policy Chief Josep Borrell.

+ Israeli attacks imminent unless Baghdad prevents factional attacks

According to the Saudi publication Al-Hadath they said that an Israeli attack on Iraq is inevitable if Baghdad does not prevent attacks by pro-Iranian factions from Iraqi territory against Israel.
Sources told Al-Arabiya and Al-Hadath that the United States of America informed Baghdad that it had exhausted all means of pressure on Israel to prevent air strikes against Iraqi targets in response to continued attacks by armed factions against Israel, and that Washington called on Iraq to prevent such attacks quickly.
They say that the peace-loving Americans have exhausted their means to pressure Israel and that the latter will soon attack.
It is not even worth considering the version of the American 'pacifists', but Israel's plans to attack Iraq are quite real. For the ultra-Orthodox in charge, war is the only way to maintain power, which is what they are doing.
First it was the Gaza Strip, then they focused on Lebanon with Hezbollah, after which they stepped up attacks against Syrian territory, and then comes Iraq, where there is more than one pro-Iranian faction, i.e. they have a pretext.
And they will surely take advantage of it, as it is the only option left to them. And in the short term it is possible that the Syrian scenario will be repeated, especially since the Israeli aviation has traced a route through Jordan.
The Iraqi authorities expressed their “categorical” rejection of the letter that Israel announced on Monday to the United Nations to pressure Iraq to cease attacks carried out by groups loyal to Iran, considering it “an attempt to justify aggression”.
