Israel-Palestine War: Hamas Breaks Out of Gaza, Israel Responds With Genocide

What just impacted me after watching this short video was the long term consequences of war, no this is not a war, of genocide on children.
I recall Gabor Mate saying that for some individuals as babies, even just something as seemingly benign as breaking eye contact when an infant is gazing at a parent can cause a fracture in trust, security, and result in low self esteem and mental health disorders.
Now I can’t even begin to imagine these children in Gaza as adults.
A very desirable side effect I’m sure Israel is proud of, traumatised and fragmented people everywhere, an absolute feeding ground for attachments (not to mention 4DSTS)
It really blows my mind when I try to imagine the situation over there. Something in me stops me from going too deep into those thoughts and emotions, which I’m grateful for.

It is amazing to me what a curse moral blindness is while the whirlwind is blowing loudly and torture sharpens its jaws. How can this not be clear to all and what can possibly put a stop to all this horror imposed on humans by deceit and cruelty. When the demonised takes over closing time is here.

" Religion used to be the opium of the people. To those suffering humiliation , pain , illness and serfdom , religion promised the reward of an after life. But now , we are witnessing a transformation : a true opium of the people is the belief in nothingness after death , the huge solace , the huge comfort of thinking that for all of our betrayals , our greed , our cowardice , our murders we are not going to be judged."

Christians have Jesus, who not only forgives our past sins but any future sins as well, at least according to modern theology. It's a great get-out-of-jail-free card, and all ya gotta do is believe, no thinking is required, in fact, thinking is looked down on.

For that latter kind of religion, and it is truly a religion for most people because all their life is concentrated around it and it is promoted as never before today thanks to technology - materialism, you have to have a fertile ground, and with large part, I would even say majority worshipping it, you have to have inside frequency because individual with more developed soul would feel completely empty after a while and search for higher meaning or would go crazy or do suicide, would feel guilt, etc...so as Gurdijeff said when you could look inside others you would go crazy, but as Cs said 50 per cent being just good functioning machines and other 50 with soul probably on different stages, I would say half on down range, it is all luny show and has always been, with those on upper range bearing the most brunt and fighting against windmills through history.

Neither UN resolutions, mass demonstrations, nor resistance actions and their consequences have put an end to the genocide nor have they brought relief to the people suffering and dying in Gaza.
In the face of the facts the frustration of world opinion against Israel and its crimes is reflected as anger and produces scenes like the one at the wax museum in Mexico when a demonstrator appears to have sprayed the statue of Netanyahu with red paint before hitting it with a hammer;

As wildfires ravage California, the US authorities' priority is to sanction the ICC, with more than 500 California residents taking the latest legal action against US leaders on Thursday in an effort to stop the government's support for Israel's assault on Gaza.

'Unprecedented' Lawsuit Targets 2 US Lawmakers for Backing Israeli Military Aid

Efforts have been directed at persuading policy and decision-makers to impose an embargo that holds legislators legally responsible for voting in illegal activities - in this case in favour of providing weapons to Israel to engage in genocide
The plaintiffs are clear about this:
(...) As a plaintiff, I certainly don’t expect the courts to halt the U.S. policies that have been enabling the horrors in Gaza to go on. But our lawsuit makes a clear case for the moral revulsion that so many Americans feel about the culpability of the U.S. government.
To hardboiled political pros, the heartfelt goal of putting a stop to the arming of the Israeli military is apt to seem quixotic and dreamy. But it’s easy for politicians to underestimate feelings of moral outrage.
As James Baldwin wrote, “Though we do not wholly believe it yet, the interior life is a real life, and the intangible dreams of people have a tangible effect on the world.”
