Istanbul record store attacked during Radiohead event by islamists

A group of men terrorized a record store in Istanbul, Turkey on Friday night, attacking store owners and attendees who gathered to celebrate the release of Radiohead’s new album.

According to reports on reddit, the men were upset that the record store was not observing Ramadan. In addition to playing music, some attendees were drinking alcohol. The men attacked and beat the store’s owners as well as some attendees, and also vandalized the store. Upwards of 20 men used pipes and bottles as weapons, and threatened to burn down the store with everyone inside. A camera originally set up to stream the Radiohead event captured the attack as it unfolded. Watch it below.

A person alleging to be one of the store’s owners posted his account on reddit, writing:

“i am the person that’s speaking in that video. i am the owner of that periscope account. they were determined to kill us. we were beaten by more than 20 men with pipes in their hands, beer bottles were broken on our heads, i don’t even know how we made it out. i will share the details later guys. just hoping that noone will die.”

"the men were upset that the record store was not observing Ramadan", how exactly are these men observing ramadan? The use of violence is strictly forbidden during ramadan, as far as I know. Either way, those people should definitely be arrested, unless Erdogan's government thinks they did the right thing of course...

i saw the video on RT yesterday - and the first thought that came to my mind was "Nazi Germany was a trial run". This is the state of affairs in Turkey now under the Sultan, and I'm sure those thugs are getting tacit support from the government, and there will be no actions taken.
