James McCanney theory - what powers the Sun?

The Force is Strong With This One
Just recently I finished reading four books by McCanney about the electric comet / Sun theory. He describes the Sun as having a big solid core and nuclear fusion happening in Sun's atmosphere powered by electric discharge. He also describes local environmental batteries caused by objects being charged and then discharging by traveling in various charged regions of the solar system. The charge in the solar system is caused by Sun emitting charged plasma as a result of the nuclear fusion in the atmosphere of the Sun.

I'm obviously missing something... The way I understood his theory is that fusion in Sun's atmosphere is both the source and the result of the charges in solar system. This describes a closed loop without any power source. Unless Sun was charged when created in galaxy core and now is slowly discharging this doesn't make sense. How long would this initial charge last?

What am I missing?

Read Donald C. Scott's book "The Electric Sky" for more clarity. He has a website:
