The government declared an unprecedented Red Alert in terms of national security, which resulted, among other actions, in reinforced security at the Atucha and Embalse nuclear power plants, and at the Bariloche, Ezeiza, and Constituyentes Atomic Centers, which are under the jurisdiction of the National Atomic Energy Commission (CNEA).
