The relationship is/was parasitic, same as it ever was. Nothing changes. Check out Tucker Carlson's recent interview with Cenk Uygur (it's very long, though - 2.5 hours!). They donated a lot of money to Biden, indeed to all politicians (unfortunately I can't find the specific part of the interview that relates how much).
People/politicans that they can't control, they got rid of. This goes for all people who disagree with anything Israel does.
Off track about what? Zionism? I do hope not consider his whole book is about that. In large part, the quotes in his book are sourced from people who were actually there and, of course, some of them
were actual Zionists.
To be honest I did not read his book on Zionism - and believe there is plenty of accurate information. He has been studying other aspects of various fields, that were not satisfactory to me.
For instance he has been extensively studying Byzantium, while it appears that Byzantium itself requires caution, be it in terms of its existence (that's an example). Another thing he has been studying was that of repressed memories. That's a concept that has been used against survivors of trauma, and literally created by a specific team of, let's say, US scientists... It appeared that L.G., long time ago, had a book published by one of those people. And so, last year if I remember correctly, L.G. published a serie of articles valuing the merits of the concept of repressed memories, quoting that mkultra scientist as a valuable person.
All together this made me wonder about his real motivations. I can perfectly see a model going by "the guy getting fooled", and slowly sorting out his way, through new fields of study, and experience. I don't exclude that because those people seem quite alone to drive their boat.
He seemed to me a bit too much on the lane of discarding all-things-Jewish, which would be improper - and teaching this to many. Honestly I don't know. As we say in French, "in case of doubt, abstain". There are plenty of things that I have on my stove, so it's not that much a pity for me if I don't read his book. But Douglas Reed is definitely a must.
Thanks for the takes on Israel. I feel that the last session narrowed the waters Israel finds itself in, and it's cloudy... From the time C predicted harsh future for Israel, I can see that the road to salvation was not borrowed. They must be closer to the result than ever, then. And given all the harm they do and did, all over the world, sneaking in to almost every person's business - well - I wish them a peaceful harvest at least, of those bitter fruits they have been growing. But the sooner they leave the place, the better it will be. There seems to exist no way whatseover to get along the consensual model (BRICS, peace, respect), for Israel. The world of normality does not interest them, so be it.
But that's over a period of 3000 years! It seems Israel has infiltrated more than just the USA Administration. Certain individual members of the Jewish faith have been 'players' for a long time. I'm just not sure they are at all religious, rather interested in power, politics and money. This sort of thing has been happening for a long while, or so it seems.
