Jon Stewart (jokingly) pulls out a ouija board

Watching the Daily Show from 8-1, when Jon Stewart suddenly pulls out a ouija board to pretend to communicate with Mitt Romney's passed father, in an attempt to 'fact-check' Senator Reid's comments about how "His poor father must be so embarrassed about his son." (pretty low belt remark obviously)

It was a ha-ha piece, but at the end he says with a twinkle and a smile "I had no idea how precise these things were!"

I always find it interesting when ouija boards are used in mass mediums, especially when they aren't demonized, so thought I would mention the occurrence.

That was pretty great. Stewart seems to be antagonistic toward organized religion but not necessarily an outright atheist, so maybe he is at least a little bit open towards these types of spiritual communications and pursuits.

Despite these shows toeing the line when it comes to much of anything really "alternative" (i.e. 9/11 Truth, climate/earth change, CIA puppet rebels in Syria, etc.), they do occasionally come up with some gems. Check out this from the Colbert Report last night:
