They weren't interested. :( I felt rather put off that they think they know the answer and don't want to consider new information. Here's what James said:
Dear [zlyja]:
Unfortunately we know exactly what is wrong with JoAnne. Our problem is the needed medication is with-held from the public here in the US. The sub-lingual pills she could be taking are no-prescription, over the counter in Europe. Here they must be specially made and very few compounding pharmacies have the pure materials to start with.
The terrible truth is benzo-diazapines are the most addictive drug "family" of all time. Vallium, Zanax +++++++ hundreds of others. Once a patient is prescribed one of these 90% are addicted in 10 days. Big pharma has a client for life. There is no interest in helping any patient remove themselves from the addiction... because that stops the profits.
It took us years to find out the problem. $150,000 in testing and doctors with no results. A pharmacist in Tripoli, knew JoAnne's problem with only my description of her symptoms. She knew the severity in one of 100,000 persons and knew of the terrible damage done to the GABA receptors. Unfortunately she did not know of the cure and yes flomazneil is a proven cure. Getting the dose and frequency correct is a very technical challenge, so this CURE is always done in a hospital with constant monitoring of ALL vital signs.
We have not been able to pay for this process, because of all the reasons you know. We are getting closer to our goals and pray that after tomorrow we will be able to have our "in family" doctor order a bunch of extremely low dose tablets, so we can start our attempts to heal JoAnne's GABA receptors once and for all. No one know the time required; the daily dose of the frequency, but the experts have devised a program for us to follow, while monitoring everything we can constantly. BP 5 min., before dose; 25 min. after and 2 hours later. Same with temperature. Daily notes to the doctors about time and severity of the DT's etc.
We know this will be a roller-coaster but the drug is a antagonist and will repair the damage done by the parasite and exacerbated by the "benzo".
It is so kind to offer to send more research for us, but JoAnne has spent 10 hours a day 3 to 4 days a week for 7 years trying to find some answers for her health challenges; because this has caused her to have a terrible quality of life. One of your books she has read and experts from the other, lots of good life-path stuff inside both. But she does not need to re-read.
SHE DOE NOT DESERVE THIS FATE. I AM FRUSTRATED, but we now pray that her challenge will soon be over.
Sincerely,
Jimmy
