Nice graphics.....but I actually found it pretty creepy/disturbing (distorted perceptions). It was also very hypnotic.
Just my take...

I dunno EGVG... I had a similar feeling to Redfox. The music certainly contributed, but the whole video made me feel really uneasy.

OOH! I'm sorry to hear that :(

For reasons I can't completely explain, I actually started to feel kind of nauseous about half-way through this video. I think I might have cow nightmares. Or nightheifers. Or something like that.

Link doesn't work for me... says there is a "malformed" video-anyone else having this problem?

I've deactivated the link, to avoid more people feeling disturb or uncomfortable.

I've seen this one and some other videos made by Cyriak, and I find them strange and somewhat disturbing, even creepy.

Reminds me of GMO foods and GMO foods that cows are eating. Still waiting for the FDA to approve GMO salmon so they can mate with non-modified wild salmon. Very disturbing indeed.

I've seen others from Cyriak, I think his or her videos are cool, I guess I have a different sensibility than a lot of forum members.

I wouldn't necessarily say that you have a different sensibility, but that the way your sensibility is manifesting may be worth some self investigation, if that makes any sense. Personally, I had quite a few shocks when I first came to this forum about how I perceived things that I simply assumed were normal and even laughable. And I'm sure that there are still plenty of things to which I'm oblivious, so we are all on the same boat starmie :) We simply have different blind spots.
Nevertheless, investigating why our sensibility manifests the way it manifests can be really, really fruitful. For me it has been a way of finding out where are some of my many blind spots, where have I been so deeply ponerized that I just can't see things the way they are?

There was a thread that really made me rethink this issue of how we perceive things as normal, when they may be anything but that. You may want to read it here: http://cassiopaea.org/forum/index.php/topic,15878.0.html

Well, you deactivated the link before I could watch it, but fwiw, I wanted to say that a very good friend of mine, likes David Lynch and Tarantino movies, which I find very disturbing and I avoid them. Same with my partner, who watches Greenaway movies, which I will avoid from now on after watching one and reading the synopsis of another. And, conversely, they don't always like the movies I watch, nor do we have the same sense of humor or humor appreciation, perhaps due to cultural differences as well. What I am trying to say is that I still like my friend and my partner, even if I don't always like what they are watching, and I think they like me too despite of my movie preferences. While I might reject the invitation to watch something with them, I don't reject them. Does that make any sense?

I'm pretty much a fan of Cyriak's animations. IMHO at its core it's simple surrealism in animated form. I think it defies our traditional views of what is "proper" and familiar in reality, by showing us weird images of everyday things, in order to expand our minds somehow. Just like Surrealism back in the day, it may not be considered appropriate, and some people may be disturbed or even disgusted by it, but it's still a legitimate expression of creativity and consciousness through modern art. There's a lot more animations on his Youtube channel if anyone's interested. :)

I dunno Cesar -- I just took a look at several of those, and all I can say is that if someone I knew and cared about were creating these, I'd be pretty concerned about them. It doesn't strike me as simple surrealism at all -- some of them are pretty grotesque. You're right that it's an expression of consciousness, but it makes me really wonder about the state of that consciousness.
