Lead paint

The Living Force
Hi all,

I stumbled upon this video on X about lead paint :

... and wonder what's true and false here. The clip wonders if it wasn't part of the plan to ban lead paint decades ago knowing that lead is good at blocking various frequencies, and it declares that the studies made on the toxicity of lead were done by industrials ...

Side note: i also found another clip on X recently which was showing that some people (in US probably) were covering their roof with copper sheets, like the image on this tweet :
It's not the tweet i saw, can't find it back, but remember they argued that it blocks some of man-made waves.

Well, question to C's could be first if the ban of lead paint was a concerted plan or not ? then other questions could be asked about. Or we can sort that here by discussing without having to ask this to the C's ?

The lead in paint is most likely an oxide so it's not conductive. Furthermore even if it was, it is a small amount of fine particles suspended in an insulator to provide color so there is no conduction occurring from particle to particle. A conductive particle can't affect a frequency with a wavelength larger than it is, so the particles do nothing.

Lead paint is nothing compared to a metal foil, the difference is huge because a foil is a continuous piece of metal with far higher conductivity than paint.

Usually to have any significant effect on EMF you need high conductivity across a large area.

Thanks @monotonic
This topic is linked to the EMF Exposure thread and the post i wrote in October to which you answered, about companies specializing in EMF protection, creating a room within an house they call something like "an EMF sanctuary room"

So, based on what you wrote, the claim in the clip would be false, or let's say a fake "conspiration theory".
I remember the clip i saw when i posted in the other thread in october, they were indeed connecting all together, I mean, walls & roof were forming an unified protection dome and that's in line with what you say here. I'll have to make some choices in the coming ... months or year(s) about how i'll refurbish the main room where i'll pass a lot of time in the future, I'll probably post in a dedicated thread at this moment.
The main question is, or will be, the following one : is it worth it, leaving in an occidental country, to do that ? to protect one's house or to protect at least one or two rooms in your habitation against all these man-made waves ?
The answer also depend where one lives. Here's, it's in a village in a not much crowded area (south of BE)

Maybe another helpful question would be how to test whether EMF is affecting you. I took a lot of health supplements in the past and had little idea whether they actually helped me in any way, I was just hoping they would. These days I focus on finding ways to actually confirm how something affects me. If you can't confirm that then I can't see you being motivated to change countries even if it were the best option. So all the worrying may only contribute to stress and vulerability to other stressors, including EMF.

Beyond having an EMF meter and confirming you're not exposed to immediately concerning levels, everything is a balancing act as always. Some people seem to be deeply convinced that EMF can't be compared with other risks one faces, but this is a self-defeating outlook since it breaks down a person's ability to prioritize.
