Les Ordres, a film from Québec

Don't worry, global warming is taking care of the cold. Winters are slowly fading and summers are becoming very harsh, especially this year (emphasis). We are pulverizing heat records at an astonishing rate. This is causing many many problems. Climate is becoming more tropical-like in summer.

When the ice age hits, it'll be quite devastating to begin with but on that point, we indeed are more used to deal with crazily cold weather. But for 365 days a year? Hummm. If they don't expect it (and most don't) it sure will be a deadly transition.
The myth of global warming is well established on this forum and on SotT and evidenced by how the PTB now call it climate change, so I wouldn't put to much faith in any warming trends you might think you are experiencing. :)

@ all
When you look back on Quebec's history before the Anglo invasion you will see that there has always been a select few controlling the many. After the Anglo invasion, the French ruling class merely traded one power for another and become the intermediaries between English rule and it's practical application to the people. They continued to be wealthy and exert considerable power, since they already had well established methods of manipulating the institutions, including the church, as well as the people.

The quiet revolution was an interesting period of self awareness and intellectual activity. It was what propelled the younger people to the cities, away from their rural beginnings, creating a form of diaspora within their own province. However, the revolution quickly focused its attention on English control and completely missed the pathocrats within their own midst. This made it quite easy for the power class to foment separatism and belief in the need to protect their culture at all cost, creating another divide and conquer result. Until the Quebecois recognize their susceptibility to being fooled by their own to keep looking outside as the primary threat, they will never see the greater threat from within, OSIT.

The fear of the effects and influence of the "other", be it the rest of Canada, assimilation, England, the US or immigration from non-Catholic, non-Franco outsiders, is so entrenched in the culture that the Quebecois so adamantly protect, they may never see the poison apple placed in the orchard.

Really, it was a rather brilliant plan to ensure only certain people continue to rule Quebec, no matter who is "in power". Reminds me of "meet the new boss, same as the old boss."

Hence why I was refering to an upcoming ice age. I'm well aware that this won't be a trend for very long as the earth's axis is slowly changing for instance. Not to mention the approach of our companion star which is affecting the electromagnetic field of the earth and it's spin.

The C's have stated that as minimal as these changes might seem, they are going to make all the diffrence whether we like it or not. As they have stated in one on the lastest session "you ain't seen nothin' yet".

I should just abandon the term "global warming" and refer to climate change as it is more appropriate as you have stated.

Sorry for the missunderstanding.

Yes indeed, pathocracy has no language barrier, has no allegiance other than their recognized clique of others of the same ilk.

Yep. The Desmarais family of Montréal is a good example (Power Corporation). They have a territory (Sagard) and a huge mansion in which important political figures have been seen with the Desmarais, drinking, laughing and having some good ol' fun.

Some who were seen: Jean Charest (curret Québec PM), Lucien Bouchard (former of same), Jean Chrétien (former Canadian PM), George H. W. Bush, Donald Trump, Brian Mulroney...

Paul Desmarais also received the legion of honor from Sarkozy which is the highest distinction a French resident can receive. He is the only person outside of France to have ever received it as a matter of fact.

Here is a nice picture of our current prime minister of Québec Jean Charest (right) with Paul Desmarais Jr. (left). They seem to enjoy eachother don't they?

Here is Paul Desmarais Sr. First is when he was a bit younger and next is closer to today. The look in his eyes send chills down my spine. He seems to be souless.

Although I've never researched it myself, it might be interesting to trace back the family names back to the formation of lower Canada/New France/Quebec. I've been told the same families that run the show now go all the way back. to original power brokers that caused the region to be settled.

It might also be interesting to connect them with the money trail and blood lines that encouraged the early explorers, like Cartier and later, de Champlain.

This could be quite indeed very interesting.

Just another thing to research on top of the other zillion.

*Sigh*

Yep. Learning is very exciting and fun but boy, it's pretty exhausting sometimes. ;)

Anyhow, I will never give up until we are One again. Don't worry. And that is going to be the STO way.

Peace.
