Like SOTT articles on FaceBook

Hi everyone, I wanted to share this idea with everyone.

i wanted to make a suggestion to members to like articles on Facebook after reading them, from other members they see.

the reason i want to encourage everyone to make as many likes on SOTT articles or the SOTT page, is because when many people like a post on Facebook it appears more on newsfeeds
the more people like an article it becomes a trending article and it comes up on other people's newsfeed as a trending article.

Im not sure if this was already discussed but I came as an idea a while back.

Also, We can always use this tool of FB to make more people aware the same way RT articles come up in newsfeed
also the #(hashtag) tool even if it's just one or two words and our personal commentary/quote etc...

:) yes great idea, I do it on regular basis. We can also put the scores here so everyone can see, that particular sott article got ..... So many likes and shares. Just to bring it to the top! :D

Agreed but get ready for a little (or great) resistance from some folk, especially if your using the share function. I do this all the time and the machine in people comes out. They will defend to the death ideas that are from the authority that they follow.
Stay strong but be ready for the worst. (Unless all your friends are cool in which case lucky you) :P

I`m doing that whenever i can. Maybe sometimes i miss some articles , but generally i do that. As mush as we share the truth then more and more people will read it, well potentially read it . I `m also doing that on G+, and tweeter. Its a good idea

Captainmurphy, this is true, sometimes you do come across authoritarian/chemically unbalanced nuts who just are too brainwashed to even read what is presented right in front of them. I have a vegan cousin who refuses to touch any meat, too bad for him I suppose like the t-shirt sold on revoltwear.net what a 'huge missed steak'

I think it is fine if people make their opinions whatever they are, but the awareness of what is going on may hit someone.

people may just read the title and keep scrolling but it still passes through their head, even that little makes others aware.

What i will do is to create a sub-group on FB of sott members and do a round when I can on the articles I see.



Obviously it is not just liking the post for us, many of us read as many as we can, but this is just an attempt at getting to the ears and eyes of those "lost brothers" who may find their way here or just to bring awareness in general to the general public

Also the thought of the 6 degrees of separation inspired this idea.
