Liquid Calories?

Hello,
I've been trying to cut out gluten and carbs lately. Cooking more meats and vegetables instead. However, I've started losing weight! About 8lbs (3kg) in the last few weeks. Weight loss is not something I'm looking for, I'm already skinny enough!

I think the problem is the lack of "liquid calories", per say. I eat enough, but I don't drink anything besides tea/water. This year I went from around 130lbs (58kg) to 150lbs (68kg) by forcing myself to drink protein shakes loaded with peanut butter inbetween or after meals, but I lessened that as I doubt those chemically loaded shakes can be good for anyone in long consumption.

My question is, what are some liquid foods I can take to keep on my weight? When I search around, all I can find is various forms of protein shakes.

Maybe bone broth ? It's highly nutritious and very good for health for many reasons. If you type "bone broth" in the search engine of this forum you will find a lot of threads where they talk about it and also recipes to make it (notably in the Ketogenic diet/Keto Recipes/ The Carnivore diet/Iodine and Potassium Iodide/)
You can also add ghee or coconut oil or mct oil in your tea.

I've been adding butter to my tea but I haven't thought about bone broth before. Sounds like a good idea.

Well, don't worry about weight loss. Some of that weight loss is due to lowering the inflammation in your body and lowering the carbs.
You can try to increase fat consumption if you are not having any ingestion problems while your body adapts to this diet.
Bone broth is excellent food, packed with nutrients.

Do a little research, there are a lot of similar threads on this forum.

Problems gaining weight is also mentioned by @Keyhole in the thiamine thread.
Poor exercise recovery, inability to gain/lose weight, light sensitivity?

If you have any collection of the above symptoms, and they have not been addressed by adequate dietary intervention, you may be suffering from thiamine deficiency.
