Just to let folks know myself and Pob will be doing a test run / taking a live internet radio broadcast out this evening Sunday September 9 at 20:00 GMT .We will be just chatting and playing some music. Its quite a few years I think since Ive taken something out live so im presently sorting things out technically this side.

Would be good if you could tune in and give some feedback regarding sound quality , reception , whether its skipping in your part of the world etc.

There is two songs by away with the fairys just cycling around at the moment until 8pm GMT. it will go on and off through out the day as I sort the technical side out.

Richard's voice is good, but other person's voice is very low.

I went to the indicated website twice.

The first time at about 21.05 Hrs local time (Amsterdam = GMT + 2) and left it open for about half an hour without hearing anything at all. I understood it was supposed to broadcast the two songs of AWTF alternately during that timespan.

The second time just now (23.00 Hrs local time) and it's still open, again without any sound whatsoever.

I'm using Opera browser, have VLC mediaplayer, QuickTime and MS WMP installed and working, and have never before encountered any problem with listening to various other radio websites or with the sound of YT-vids, or whatever. All website plugins etc. are up to date as well.

Am I doing something wrong ?

I caught on the part of broadcast. I admit that it was hard for me to understand all of what was discussing because of my English, but yet was pleasantly listen to you. I enjoyed it. :cool2:

No change !

I opened VLC media player and copy/pasted the website link directly into the players address bar and selected 'play' to no avail and then again 'streaming', but nothing there either.

_http://www.radioliverpool.com/ is working fine with firefox, maybe you need to install some additional modules?

Tried it with Chrome? I am using Chrome at the moment...

I doubt that very much, besides I wouldn't know what to install that I don't already have...

@ Snow:

I don't have Chrome installed. Only Internet Explorer. Haven't tried that yet.

Opened up the website in IE and got immediate reception in good quality (with a little echo in the sound every now and then).

Have to quit now. Almost bedtime here...

Same here, didn't work with firefox in neither my laptop nor my husband's pc, but it is working with Chrome for both of us.

Working fine here in Firefox 15 on Linux. Sounds great!

Just tuned in, been swamped in schoolwork so am off to bed. Just wanted to echo Seek10's point that the voice balance is way off. It's disturbing for ones listening pleasure; when your ear turns the volume up to home in on AWTF's voice, one is shocked when Pob replies with a volume much louder. Constantly adapting ones listening volume is tolling. I'm on firefox btw.
