Lizzies in the Media

The Living Force
Is it just me or does there seem to be an increase in the use of Lizzies in the media these days?

In this thread I mentioned one I noticed.

Here's another one that will be aired during the Super Bowl.

A little conditioning of the peeps going on here you think? Or is it just for the amusement of the Lizzies? :scared:

Lol I dunno I thought it was kinda cute. I love the thriller dance. The end though was creepy - how they were hangin on her, and whatever 'Life Water' is i would most definitely NOT drink it.

I have noticed that the geico guy is very well received, esp among young girls. I guess the cute little big-eyed lizzie with the brittish accent is trendy? ::shrugs::

Unfortunately the video is not anymore available!

But I found the same somewhere else:

The Hulu superbowl ad is even more disturbing.  Featuring Alec Baldwin as a tv exec (presumably reprising his role from 30Rock) he explains that Hulu technology that can bring tv to your computer - turning your brain to jelly on your computer, just like tv does.  It even has an image of a brain getting smaller watching tv.  He then says,  "The best part is that there is nothing you can do to stop it.  What are you going to do, turn off your tv AND your computer? (laughs) Once you're brain is reduced to a cottage cheese like mush, we'll scoop them out with a melon baller and gobble them right on up.  Oops, I'm think I'm drooling a little. Because we're aliens, that's how we roll."  (with a reptile tail shooting up inside his suit jacket).  Voice over - Hulu, an evil plot to destroy the world: enjoy!

Hulu ran pre-bowl press hyping that their ad would 'reveal a big secret'  ---  I guess so...

Totally creepy. Here's the link if you want a look.

There's also this one from SoBe. It's a bunch of football players & aliens dancing to "Lizard Lake" instead of "Swan Lake."

That is pretty dam creepy.....the bit with the 2 guys laughing, and the little look from Alec at the end of the laughing *shivers*

And..

...good to see drinking that 'lifewater' turns you into a lizzard, and watching the TV turns your brain to mush (that will be scooped out and eaten by lizard aliens).. :scared:

Wow. I never thought they would be this "bold".

As a little note that I made to myself was that "little look from Alec". It emulated precisely the kind of look that you can catch a glimpse of in certain times when dealing with a psychopath. That "how he reacted to that?"

Creepy. But we'll see how well their wishfulness fares in the end ;D

Maybe ironically I wish the Cs were right when they said that their plans would fail. One tough future we are looking at now, anyway. Better to take it as a still more reason to stay awake to the largest extent.

this is beyond creepy. On a more mundane level, why do they think that this kind of advertisement will help their sales? I mean, will people actually line up to buy this hulu thing after watching that? Or do I underestimate -- or overestimate -- people? Or would the people's complacent reaction be the sign that the populace is ready for the next step?

Hulu is a free service so I don't think it's a matter of people buying their product. Maybe the more viewers they have the more ad space will be sold. Hulu is basically a place where you can go online and watch any TV show on network TV, much like video on-demand except with commercials. But that ad is downright freaky. What kind of ad-person thought that one up?

Every time I read about "Lizzies in the media", I find myself wondering:

- If there's a common ad agency serving up this theme, and where do THEY get the Lizzie/alien symbol from?

At this point, I'm not aware of any other source for the "Lizzie" than what has originated from the C's material, so do I have a blind spot here? Could it be mockery? hmmm

Well, if you do a Google search with "lizards + aliens", and you'll see that there are other "sources". If anyone is being "mocked", I suspect it is David Icke.....

Thanks PepperFritz. I see there is still a lot to catch up on to fill in my blanks.

Well it is said that the best kept secret is the one which is out in the open and right in your face!
Creepy indeed.

As for would people watch / support something which is basically down right insulting to their very essesnce. Erm ...Yep!

These are all rather disconcerting to me.

Could it be that the man behind the curtain really is being exposed? And that this is happening by choice in their overconfident wishful thinking to complete the programming before the comets come? To see if the sheeple are ready for the true magician who looks so cute and cool?

I have to admit that watching these bits, even though they are presented in a comic/hep type of way, fills me with foreboding. I can't help but think that this is being done for a larger purpose.

Although, it could just be me. :/

Wow. I moved from Pa to Az, lost my direct internet access and thus connection to this forum and sott for almost a month...I must've fallen 'asleep' again because I've seen these very ads and never made that connection. Very disturbing on a personal level that I 'forgot' about the entire lizzie/alien concept in such a short period of time. My vigilance waned. This is some crazy stuff going on. :O
