Looks like as an interesting correspondence for me

The Force is Strong With This One
Hm, its very interesting. Last week I started to read the book of Laura (The Secret History of the World) and for some reason after the first few chapters the idea leaped into my mind that Graham Hancock probably use some ideas of Laura before he started to write his last bestseller book (Supernatural). This idea has started to grow in me when I see the same so called caveman-made ancient picture in the two mentioned books paralell. Then now I just found one of the older article of Laura /see in http://www.cassiopaea.org/cass/matrix_dna_illusions_alchemy.html / and in it the disscussion with the C-s (dated 07-10-99) about the issue of ayahuasca and related topics... Its so strange for me now, really. Are there anybody here who have read the mentioned book from Hancock? Whats your opinion regarding the possibility of GH gained some idea from Laura...? Or I have a kind of misdirection-feel and I found only an interesting bit of paralell nuances?

Ideas are circulating in the air. It is normal that, when "the right time" arrives, not just one person, but many, are starting to see what they did not see before. So, the point is not whether some idea comes from here or there. The main issue is what any given author DOES with some particular idea. How any given idea is being developed? In which direction? Some authors develop a given idea and obfuscate it. Some other relate it to other ideas, support with additional data in a creative way.
It is usually good when such an activity is enhanced by networking with many other researchers. It may happen that a given new or old idea is just the key, not the path itself, the key that opens the gate leading into the new land of intellectual adventure.

So, comparing the notes may indeed be beneficial.

I've got Graham Hancock's Supernatural as well as The Sign and The Seal. I don't believe Graham Hancock was inspired by Laura's work for two reasons - Primarily he's English, so that rules out plagiarism, and Secondly he, like Laura, generously cites the sources from where he got those ideas.

Incidentally, Laura cites Graham Hancock's The Sign and The Seal in her Bibliography of Secret History Vol-II when she dismisses radiation burns on Moses' Face being the reason for his veil after receiving the 10 Commandments.
