LOUD booms & kracks in Phx Az.

Don't know if this is the right section to put this if not Mopd plz move it to correct place ..

Yesterday friday the 11 of Nov 2011 in the Phoenix Valley at 11:00 pm , I heard for better than 30 min A bunch of loud booms & kracks & pops as if it was the 4th of july show without the fireworks light show , there wasn't any lights or sparks just the booms of ya know the mortors for the big type of fireworks .
I mean really like the 4th fireworks show without the lights and so loud we could hear it inside of the house so I went outside and listened for 10-15 min trying to see "anything" and nata just sound , so to make shure it wasn't just me I go inside to get others... my niece & brother come out and hear the same thing ...whew!

Strang thing is afterwords I turn on the news channell and leave it on for 24 hrs & check the local news and nothing , nada ?!? this was so loud it must be in the news somewhere ? even if it was explainable ! I waited 24 hrs till 11:00 tonight to see if it would happen again before I posted this....

Personally I was about to post some thing in the dream section before it happened but afterwords I felt grounded.
I had been playing with my research ( fun to me :)) and was feeling pretty up , but after that booming just didn't feel up anymore not energy drained or anything drastic just like a energy had been grounded . Kinda bumed me out as I was holding a lot of research in my head before comitting it to notepad ( this is normal for me)

So if anyone here lives in Phx. valley if you heard this booming and poping post here please and let us/me know how you perceived it please....

I was able to find this through Google, sounds like you weren't the only one. One person also only heard the sound, but then another commenter actually saw it while driving and said they were fireworks being lit at 11:11 on 11/11/11.

The sound of fireworks (especially the booming bass) can really travel a long ways. I grew up on a river bank about 25 miles upstream from a sports stadium. Everytime there was a baseball game being won, you could here the nonstop distant booming of the mortars, but there was no way to see the lights. You'd have to drive at least 10 miles closer to even begin to see it in that example, and the sounds would be very loud at that point.

Thank you , Happy valley and I-17 are just east of me and on the other side of a small mountain ( were over by the lake ) .

Had Niece & nefew do recon , thay didnt see the fireworks , there was a running gun fight around 9:00 pm and was over quick wonder why N&N didn't see the fireworks ? thay did say there was a bizillion cops out tho lol....
