Hello!
Two interesting things happened yesterday... First, I received an EE DVD copy and second, I received an email form a Bioenergetic Institute in Buenos Aires telling me that there's a course starting now and if I wanted I could join. It was weird because I wasn't looking for a course (for now, because I had searched for that before, about a year or two ago) so I had the invitation as a surprise.
They told me there are different possibilities consisting in:
1. Going to Buenos Aires for 9 months and having a very intensive course.
2. Going to Buenos Aires for two weeks every month and finishing the course in 9 months as well (that means even more intensively studying for those 2 weeks per month).
3. Going to Buenos Aires one weekend per month and finishing the course in 3 years.
The course is called "Terapia Corporal Bioenergética" and they also sent me the curriculum of the "career" which is very interesting, despite some Freudian perspectives from which I had quite enough during my two years of studying psychology at the university. They work with a lot of the "concepts" that we/you discuss here, such as the sympathetic-parasympathetic relations and its importance in mental health, emotions, and so on...
The thing is... For the experience I had at university here (terrible), I am kind of reticent to pay for something mediocre... And I don't really know too much about this institute, even though I've been researching a bit. The director was formed by the International Institute of Bioenergetic Therapy and so on...
I like the idea of studying this... To be honest, I wanted to do this kind of "therapies" for a long time... That was my aim when I was studying psychology. And what is the best is that it is linked to Eiriu Eolas and maybe I could be of more help here by doing the course. The thing is... I don't want to live in Buenos Aires for 9 months (Buenos Aires is a huge city and over there it is far more difficult to get quality food than it is here) and, since I have to work to sustain myself, I can't afford going to Buenos Aires and staying there for two weeks per month. So the only option which is available to me is going once every month and doing it slowly. I will have to spend all my money doing this. So it is quite a choice to be made...
Another thing is... I also have this farm project in mind. I am planning to move to the country side in August-September and start a little farm, so I could produce my own food and all that... (some preparedness as well) By now I had been studying about pastured chicken and other animals such as pork and sheep, and also saving money for the first investment. This is also something that I wanted to do for a long time already, and now I have the possibility to do it.... I did not want to miss that...
The course is starting now... So I have to make a decision... and I was thinking that maybe some of you could give some different views that could help me see things better.
I just want to add that I want to do something that will be useful, not only for me, but for you and for the community. I like to invest my energy (and money) in things that I know that will be more likely to be helpful, so that's why it is hard for me to make such a choice so quickly... I rather think a lot about the different possibilities before I do anything, but sometimes, the opportunity is there and it is "take it or leave it"... lol
So... Advice will be appreciated. :)
Thanks a lot!
