Well, I also wonder, how this could go on for ten years and also, why no real effective intervention of the police has followed as those guys terrorized the whole neighborhood and the officers have been called several times. It does look to me, as if there was maybe some sort of silent agreement... Well, however, that is just very much speculation on my part... This thought came to my mind due to memory of a SOTT article, that had been published last week, I think. I tried to find that article but didn't have success. I can just recall, it was about the sexual abuse of a girl with Trisomy 21 in Scotland by her father and brother. The local police officer has been involved in this abuse pretty much, regarding that article (originally published by a Palestinian magazine or newspaper, as I can remember).
While in the present one from "dailymail" the police didn't seem to intervent that much at all. So, how much did they let this happen by silence or did they just have been sucessfully duped by this particular family all the time - manipulated by those psycho-brothers? However, that's just a supposition from my angle of view...

I agree with that, it is very contradictory to implement technics for public surveillance but on the other hand not knowing (or not wanting to know), what is going on in the area of real crime in order to make that stop before the individual, who is a victim of the ongoing crime is exposed to prolonged suffering that will lead to a loss of his/her life.

This also left me wondering. Maybe they came out to somehow washing their hands clean by now showing sorrow and to justify themselves etc. , however... It seems to me, they didn't want him because he was disabled - by then to see that the members of the family who took care of this guy instead, became his tormentors and murderers; they used his disability and therefore weaker position to take the social financial benefits from him and entertain themselves from his sufferings. Maybe the realization of all this might be a real shock for his original family - so much, that they realize their faults for not really caring for him, maybe. So it seems for his mother, at least:

It indeed seems the case, that the charged Watt family is a whole bunch of psychopaths - especially as they made their fun out of Michael's sufferings. I cannot understand this, really. I have calmed down a bit during making this post about the matter, but I cannot stop myself by just feeling really sick about this happenings.
