Hi drygol, you've gotten into a bit of a habit lately of posting video links without much explanation. Could you please explain what is going on in this video for those with slower internet connections. It's also good to do this for external consideration and to train yourself to communicate more clearly.

I saw this a few weeks ago, and was pretty amazed by it. This is another Derren Brown video (you may recall another video of his was recently discussed, the 'subliminal advertising' episode).

There are a number of other past discussions involving this guy, searching the forum for "Derren" shows 8 other conversations.

In the video Drygol posted, Derren is apparently performing for and in conjunction with, a random group of people on the street. He tells people to visualize a movement inside the mind, but to remain still and motionless externally. He then determines, one person at a time, what the movement is that they are thinking about internally.

This all seems like trickery, but at the end of the video, he makes the audience do the exact same thing, to prove that anyone can do it.

Yeah it looks like trickery to me too but it is hard to explain trickery.
I saw several movies with Derren and quite large portion of them is basing on tricks , illusion or partial hypnosis.
But this one is kind of a riddle to me ...
