Mass Shooting @ Bondi Beach, Sydney

I‘m sorry if the following was already brought up or asked. I haven’t yet found the time to read through the thread:

First:

Is anyone remembering news pretty recently that Australia is either considering or implementing something that appears to go against the agenda of “the PTB“? I’m not sure, but I seem to remember something to that effect but can’t find it in my mind anymore. Maybe something to do with the multipolar part of the world? Something to do with Gold perhaps? I could be mistaken though and I‘m conflating something with something happening somewhere else.

Secondly:

By now after all those “random“ shootings (and similar weapon related violence) for decades now all over the west, I‘m starting to really notice at least one particular pattern:

- Same as now in Australia, it might serve at least one important purpose: Force countries/regions to pass new and stricter laws about guns and similar weapons.

- I‘m starting to think that the PTB really are trying hard to make (at the very least) western populations defenseless and/or unable to organize themselves in order to threaten anything the PTB are doing or planning with a substantial weapon based resistance and/or deposing of those up there responsible for the mess with weapons. And/or preparing the grounds towards a defenseless population after the coming changes which might involve quite some cataclysms, so that they can come out of their bunkers afterwards and reclaim power/control without resistance? And/or preparing mechanisms and legal frameworks to quickly dispose and/or imprison people easily that have any weapons that might now be “illegal“.

Edit: Added the last two sentences above.

I think "9/11 style" was her way of saying a false flag to be blamed on Israel's enemies, but I probably shouldn't project too much into that.
At 15 dead, I think it's the worst, in terms of numbers killed, mass killing of Jews, outside of Israel, since WW2. Not sure about that though. Can anyone recall a worse one? The 1972 Munich massacre saw 11 Israeli Olympic athletes killed. The January 2015 attacks in Paris at the Charlie Hebdo magazine office, plus the Jewish kosher store a couple of days later, saw a total of 17 people killed, but not all victims at Hebdo were Jewish.

As far as I can tell at the moment, the single worst atrocity, until now, committed against Jews outside Israel, post-9/11, was the mass shooting at a synagogue in Pittsburgh in 2018, which saw 11 Jews killed.

There's an intermediate step before becoming a fully fledged officer in Australia called either general duty or auxillary officer depending on the state. They don't carry side arms, usually just pepper spray and batons because they're basically just security staff in police uniform. They've done bootcamp sans firearms training. I can't tell from that post whether they're carrying or not.

Not that I can recall, I think it’s more likely that our idiotic pm Albo has been pro Palestine.

Also Australia is already defenceless, to legally get a gun this country you have to jump through so many hoops that even the farmers have started using compound bows instead of guns.

AMIA bombing - 1994 Argentina (85 killed, not sure exactly how many were Jewish).

They're calling Bondi Australia's worst ever terror attack. I guess Port Arthur (35 dead) wasn't considered terrorism.

Yes the call for more gun control has already begun. The father shooter was allegedly a registered firearm owner and had 6 legal guns.

Well, they can't have those anymore. They're antisemitic.

Getting an AB gun license (rifle) isn't that difficult in Australia (compared to a handgun licence for eg). You do a safety course, pay a fee and then wait a while until you get it. The handgun license is a lot more annoying and expensive. You have to "compete" every few months at a shooting range to prove that you own it for sporting purposes. And of course it's very illegal to defend yourself with a firearm even if your life is in danger. It would've been an interesting legal process and national discussion if Mr Ahmed had actually shot and killed the attacker with his own gun.

EDIT:
ASIO examined Bondi Beach gunman Naveed Akram in 2019 for close ties to Islamic State cell

If this is true, then why was his family allowed to own guns?

Israel (read Mossad) are to help investigate the Bondi shooting:

From the Australian Financial Review (rest of article is behind a paywall):
Israel is helping investigate whether the Bondi attackers had links to Iran or the Islamic State, as calls grow for an investigation into how a person known to ASIO was able to mount the worst attack against Jews since October 7.

And this post on X:

And from channelnews.com.au (emphases mine):

Bondi Terrorist Attack Enters the Digital Battlefield As Mossad Does Its Own Thing

Technology is now at the centre of Australia’s largest terrorism investigation, as Federal and NSW Police probe the Bondi Beach attack that has left 16 people dead, including a child and the alleged perpetrator.

Behind the scenes, this is no longer just a crime scene investigation — it is a digital war room. Every phone call, every movement, every data point is now under forensic scrutiny as authorities attempt to determine whether this was a lone act or part of a deeper, coordinated network targeting Jewish Australians.

International Fallout and Diplomatic Tension
Israel, widely regarded as a global leader in counter-terrorism intelligence, has issued a blistering condemnation of the Albanese Government, with senior Israeli officials accusing Canberra of having “blood on its hands” for what they describe as a failure to confront rising antisemitism and jihadist extremism.

The criticism follows Australia’s recognition of Palestinian statehood — a move Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned in August would “pour fuel on the antisemitic fire.”
That warning now hangs heavily over Canberra, following what Israeli officials have labelled a “cold-blooded massacre” of people celebrating the start of Hanukkah.

Following the Digital Trail
For Australian police and intelligence agencies, today marks the beginning of a painstaking process: joining the dots.

Investigators are working to establish how far the alleged plot extended, who assisted, financed, or encouraged it, and whether overseas organisations or extremist sympathisers played a role.

Overnight, police seized mobile phones, computers, and GPS systems from the suspect’s vehicle — which reportedly contained an explosive device — and from his residence in Bonnyrigg, NSW. The alleged attacker, Pakistani national Naveed Akram, had studied at Central Queensland University and Hamdard University in Islamabad, details now being examined for potential international links.

The two gunmen involved are father and son and had told their family they were going off on a south coast fishing trip. Naveed Akram, 24, was apprehended at the shooting and was taken to hospital where he remains under police guard in a critical but stable condition. His father, Sajid Akram, 50, who owned a fruit shop, died at the scene.

Metadata: The Invisible Witness
Even encrypted messaging platforms leave traces. While apps like WhatsApp and Signal protect message content, metadata remains — timestamps, IP addresses, call patterns, device identifiers, and contact networks.

With warrants issued to Telstra, Optus, and Vodafone, investigators are now analysing Call Detail Records (CDRs), often more valuable than message content itself. These records expose behavioural patterns: who spoke to whom, how often, for how long, and from where.

Cell tower data around Bonnyrigg, university campuses, protest locations, and the route to Bondi Beach is being mapped to establish timelines and identify potential accomplices or coordinators.

Police will also examine whether the suspect or associates attended recent anti-Israel protests, and whether those events acted as points of radicalisation, recruitment, or operational planning.

Building the Network
Modern counter-terrorism investigations rely on advanced intelligence platforms that transform raw data into actionable insight.

Authorities are deploying tools such as Verint Systems, NICE Investigate, Penlink, SS8 Networks, and BAE Systems’ Applied Intelligence to aggregate CCTV footage, licence-plate data, mobile extractions, cloud backups, social media activity, and citizen uploads.

Seized devices are being examined using forensic tools including Cellebrite UFED, Grayshift GrayKey, MSAB XRY, and Oxygen Forensic Detective — software capable of extracting deleted data, location histories, photos, communications, and application records in a forensically sound manner.

Every movement becomes a node. Every contact, a line. The result is a network graph — a digital map of relationships, travel, and communication before and after the attack.

Global Intelligence Mobilised
Australia is not acting alone. Through Five Eyes intelligence sharing, Europol, Interpol, the FBI, and UK agencies including Scotland Yard, MI5, and GCHQ, investigators have access to global intelligence databases.

British authorities routinely use tools such as i2 Analyst’s Notebook to visualise complex terror networks — technology that may now help Australian agencies uncover whether this attack was locally inspired or internationally directed.

The Unanswered Question
What remains unclear is the extent of Israel’s future cooperation.

Israeli officials have openly questioned whether Australia’s political stance has undermined Jewish safety domestically. In unusually stark language, Israel’s Diaspora Affairs Ministry declared that “the blood of the victims is on the hands of the Australian government,” accusing it of weakness and appeasement in the face of jihadist threats.

Within intelligence circles, speculation persists over whether Israel may pursue its own parallel inquiries to identify overseas handlers or financiers — a reminder that terrorism investigations do not always stop at national borders.

A Test for Australia
This attack is more than a crime. It is a stress test of Australia’s intelligence capability, political leadership, and social cohesion.

As police and ASIO comb through vast digital evidence, one truth is already clear: in the modern era of terrorism, phones, networks, and data trails often speak louder than witnesses.

And what they reveal may reshape Australia’s counter-terrorism posture for years to come.

The article details the surveillance capabilities intel agencies have at their disposal. Apt warning from the Cs a few sessions back, to keep a low profile.

Also, a very interesting Max Blumenthal video from back in February this year, about 5 minutes and worth the watch:
