Massive 7.8M Earthquake In Southern Turkey

Sea recedes several meters in Turkey: citizens uneasy

It was reported that the sea receded by about 25 meters in some areas of the Sığacık district of İzmir's Seferihisar district.

According to the information obtained, islets were formed over the retreating sea, the piers remained on land. The facilities by the sea have been moved away from the sea.

Citizens stated that this event, which took place after the earthquake disaster that caused destruction in 10 provinces centered in Kahramanmaras. Citizens expressed that they were uneasy after the earthquakes in Turkey.

DEU Institute of Marine Science and Technology faculty member Prof. Dr. Dogan Yaşar spoke about the withdrawal that caused anxiety.

Stating that the withdrawal is related to the strong wind blowing, he stressed that it has no connection with the earthquake or tsunami.

"There has been a severe recession at sea for 2 days. Not only here, there is a serious recession in Balıkesir Burhaniye part. The reason for this is the north wind. Because it blows very strong There has been a severe storm in the Aegean for 4-5 days. "The north winds take the water from the north and push it to the south. The water is being pushed towards Libya and Tunisia," he said.

I could not find any reports of a supposed storm in the Aegean Sea or unusually strong winds in Turkey.

State Bahceli's message "Every day is the day of unity" and his failure to open his mansion in Osmaniye to earthquake victims, despite the collapse of the 12-storey building opposite him, drew a reaction.
What did you expect? Do you really think they are upset or something? They even try to count the votes they lost in a week. Eat as if you will never die, masters, one day, every right that goes through your throat will be vomited from you.

It was mentioned here (Session 22 March 2014):
Q: (Perceval) Well, sure, yeah. (Pierre) About Year Zero? (Perceval) So, you were talking it being the beginning of the end.

A: Just as earthquakes can begin with one that then begins an "unzipping" process, so does the changing of realms. In fact, the two have a lot in common.

Here is a sott article about the existence of molten rock layer 100 miles under the surface. Imagine the effect cosmic cometary bodies and their electromagnetic interactions with the planet tend to have serious effect on that molten layer. It tend to have cascading effect of its skidding to earthquakes, tsunamis and so on.

Scientists have discovered a new layer of partly molten rock under the Earth's crust that might help settle a long-standing debate about how tectonic plates move.

Researchers had previously identified patches of melt at a similar depth. But a new study led by The University of Texas at Austin revealed for the first time the layer's global extent and its part in plate tectonics.

The research was published Feb. 6, 2023, in the journal Nature Geoscience.

The molten layer is located about 100 miles from the surface and is part of the asthenosphere, which sits under the Earth's tectonic plates in the upper mantle. The asthenosphere is important for plate tectonics because it forms a relatively soft boundary that lets tectonic plates move through the mantle.

According to the research, which Hua began as a graduate student at Brown University, the convection of heat and rock in the mantle are the prevailing influence on the motion of the plates. Although the Earth's interior is largely solid, over long periods of time, rocks can shift and flow like honey.

Showing that the melt layer has no influence on plate tectonics means one less tricky variable for computer models of the Earth, said coauthor Thorsten Becker, a professor at the Jackson School.

"We can't rule out that locally melt doesn't matter," said Becker, who designs geodynamic models of the Earth at the Jackson School's University of Texas Institute for Geophysics. "But I think it drives us to see these observations of melt as a marker of what's going on in the Earth, and not necessarily an active contribution to anything."
...
The idea to look for a new layer in Earth's interior came to Hua while studying seismic images of the mantle beneath Turkey during his doctoral research.

Intrigued by signs of partly molten rock under the crust, Hua compiled similar images from other seismic stations until he had a global map of the asthenosphere. What he and others had taken to be an anomaly was in fact commonplace around the world, appearing on seismic readings wherever the asthenosphere was hottest.

The next surprise came when he compared his melt map with seismic measurements of tectonic movement and found no correlation, despite the molten layer encompassing almost half the Earth.

"This work is important because understanding the properties of the asthenosphere and the origins of why it's weak is fundamental to understanding plate tectonics," said coauthor Karen Fischer, a seismologist and professor at Brown University who was Hua's Ph.D. advisor when he began the research.

Strange behavior of the birds the day before the earthquake

Strange behavior of the birds the day before the earthquake
This reminds me of what Rupert Sheldrake proposed years ago:
(...) With very few exceptions, the ability of animals to anticipate disasters has been ignored by Western scientists, who dismiss stories of animal anticipations as anecdotal or superstitious. The Chinese, in contrast, have encouraged people in earthquake-prone areas to report unusual animal behaviour since the 1970s; and Chinese scientists have an impressive track record in predicting earthquakes. In several cases they issued warnings that enabled cities to be evacuated hours before devastating earthquakes struck, saving tens of thousands of lives.

By following the lead of the Chinese and paying attention to unusual animal behaviour, earthquake warning systems might be feasible in California, Greece, Turkey, Japan and elsewhere. Millions of pet owners and farmers in earthquakeprone areas could be asked to take part in this project through the media. They could be told what kinds of behaviour their pets and other animals might show if an earthquake were imminent: in general, signs of anxiety or fear. If people noticed these signs, or any other unusual behaviour, they could immediately call a telephone hotline or send a message via the internet. A computer system could analyse the places of origin of the incoming calls. If there were an unusual number of calls it would sound an alarm, and display on a map the places from which the calls were coming. There would probably be a background of false alarms from people whose pets were sick, for example, and there might also be scattered hoax calls. But if there were a sudden surge of calls from a particular region, it could indicate that an earthquake was imminent. The same principles would apply to tsunamis. To explore the potential for animalbased warning systems would cost a small fraction of current earthquake and tsunami research. By doing this research we would be sure to learn something, and could probably save many lives. At present, many millions of pounds are being allocated for setting up tsunami warning systems. I hope that those responsible for spending this money will not ignore what animals can tell us.

Core from Ukraine to Turkey and Syria. 🎯

Powerful earthquakes hit Turkey and Syria, causing thousands of deaths in Turkey’s worst seismic event in decades. WSJ explains why the meeting of three tectonic plates under the region mean there may be more earthquakes along the faultlines.

Strange behavior of the birds the day before the earthquake
Back in 1989, the day of the earthquake that collapsed the Bay Bridge, I was living in California and that morning my Himalayan cat was trying to climb the shower walls and howling like crazy. The earthquake happened that afternoon. Ever since then I have paid attention to strange behaviour in my furry companions!

Strange behavior of the birds the day before the earthquake

We, with our technology, phones, computers and electricity are incapable to listen to silence and the sounds of nature. Birds, with their little head, their little ears, their little brain, are capable to listen surely the sounds of an earthquake that is coming, also the movements, vibrations of the earth. We, humans, are the most idiotic, moron and out-of-touch of nature animal on the planet. We will pay for that!

In fact, we do not fully understand what is going on in Turkey right now. Is it just an earthquake, is it the moment when different power centers are looking for an opportunity to increase their power, is it an opportunity, awakening, unification or separation… it is possible to get a picture and intuition about everything.

Turkey normally sends its 2nd Brigade to earthquake zones. Because there are trained soldiers who will carry out the most comprehensive work on the wreckage. But the 2nd Brigade was sent to the region 34 hours after the earthquake. This is not something that has been seen before. Immediately, the soldiers were transported by helicopters. And already on the first night, the majority of people froze to death. In addition, AFAD, the organization responsible for earthquakes and disasters, experienced coordination problems. First, they said, we need civil servants. Nearly 10 thousand teachers, engineers, nurses and doctors from Istanbul flocked to the airports. But they made these people wait at the airport for about 10 hours and sent them back to their homes. Again on the first night, they did not allow aid access to the earthquake zone. On top of all that, it turned out that the head of AFAD was someone who had studied at the faculty of theology. This president was not educated in earthquake, geology, geography. People point to the state as the authority to blame on the internet. Yes that's true. Because there is an unprecedented level of negligence, delay and coordination disorder. We have witnessed this by ourselves.

It is also possible to see all kinds of spectrum. On the one hand, there are the elderly people who take off their coats and send them to earthquake victims, on the other hand, there are those who steal. On the one hand, there are those who want to be foster families, and on the other, there are those who rape women and young girls and abuse children who are pulled out of the rubble. In times like these, people become more than they are. INSIDE goes outside. And we see that people are divided into two: the conscientious and the un conscientious.

There are also some conspiracy theories circulating.

1. American, Spanish and Italian warships came to the Mediterranean for help. It is said that the state may have hesitated to take action because this earthquake, which took place in Hatay, Amik plain, was one of the portents of the apocalypse. According to Muslims, an earthquake will occur in the Amik plain in the End Times, and then there will be a great war. They call this war melhame-i kübra. Muhammad said this centuries ago. Here's some passages:

Melhame-i Kubra/Armageddon/Büyük Dünya Savaşı Üzerine Bir Değerlendirme - Tevhid Dergisi

Amik ovası savaşı
(I could'nt find the English text. You may translate them.)

And some Islamic pioneers also prophesied earthquakes and wars in this region.

The continuation of the prophecies is that after this earthquake and war, the Mahdi, the king messiah as the Jews say, will appear and Jesus Christ will descend to the earth again. The Mahdi and the messiah will meet and save people. In Turkey and the Islamic world, people constantly pray for the coming of the Mahdi. These hadiths remind me of the messiah subject in the last session. This view is the reality of Muslims and their prayer is not mine.

2. In yet another prophecy, Hatay will be completely destroyed. Yellow-headed people will come, defeat the Turkish army, and other yellow-headed people will save Hatay. It is said that the first yellow-headed people are American soldiers and the ones who will fire them are Russian soldiers.

3. In an exercise called the Millennium Challenge, the country is occupied after a natural disaster in Turkey.

4. In earthquake areas, Syrians looted trucks, houses and shops sent for aid. (Not only the Syrians but also the Turks plundered.) That's why the people and the police beat the Syrians who committed this crime. Under these videos, people wrote "God bless your hands" comments. But what will be the reaction of the Syrians living in other parts of the country to this situation? Many Syrians live in Istanbul and all other cities. Or if those in other provinces reflect this violent scene on innocent Syrians and apply violence to innocents, this will lead to a wider chaos. The civil war is again an expectation that some focus mouths watering. Elections are also postponed in case of civil war. Foreign powers confiscated the country, victimization can also be played. And some strengthen their thrones.

These are all assumptions and expectations. All wishful thoughts fueled by pain and chaos. Maybe in return for all this, other scenarios that they never expected will happen. After all, the possibilities are endless. When I saw the expansion of the earth's crust in the videos about the earthquake, "birth" came to my mind. I felt as if the earth was giving birth and these were painful pains. We'll wait and see.

While I was surfing the internet, I came across the following information: Retired Air Missile and Radar Officer Veysi Kurt established a system that knew the earthquake beforehand and got its patent. As far as I understood from his video, he was able to predict the earthquake at least 6 hours before by setting up a simple mechanism. There is information about the device in the patent document. I haven't reviewed it yet either. Sharing for those who are interested.
