Meatloaf recipe

We had another nice meeting today, :flowers:
we had food plenty and I decided to bring a little leftover
meatloaf sliced thin, like cold cuts.
Ennio was asking for the recipe so her it goes: :)

Meatloaf:

1 lb. ground beef
1 lb. ground veal
2 lb. ground pork
1 pack - 6-7 scallions
1 small onion
1 bunch of cilantro or parsley I use both
1 tbl spoon onion powder
3-4 cloves of garlic, diced
1 tbl spoon garlic powder
1 tbl spoon ginger, grated or diced very small
sea-salt
2 big tbl spoon of lard
1 egg

also a dash of herbs:

marjoram
black pepper
lemon pepper
coriander powder

Of course you can add your own things and take away things.

I use a big bowl to mix the everything together, I do it with hand.
Put a little lard in a glass pan spread it evenly with a spatula and form two loaf.
Preheat the oven 375 degrees F.
Take approx. 1 hour.
Bon appétit!
:D

I just made a modified version of your meatloaf and I can honestly say it's better than bacon! (probably because I used it as an ingredient).

Very much looking forwards to getting up for breakfast now! :D

Thanks for posting this, AM - I will be using this recipe some time soon :)

Yummy recipe, thanks! Around here, once a week we make a simpler version (because not everybody can tolerate many herbs). It's just ground pork, our sausage mix (salt, pepper, garlic, onion, sage) and egg yolks for binding. Sometimes we add ground beef, but not always. That's it. It tends to be our Sunday meal, just before the radio show. :)

Thanks for the recipe A. M. Having had the good fortune to taste your meatleaf and find it amazing, I now have the good fortune to be able to recreate it at home.

All of the food was really yummy. It was a really nice meeting in so many ways.
