Translation
A powerful light was observed by several Romanian citizens around 3 AM, during the night between 6th to 7th January. The phenomenon was registered by some surveillance cameras. For a few seconds the sky turned to daylight glow. It was similar to an explosion. The scientists said that it was the a meteor which exploded high above Romania.

The meteor had been seen almost all over the country. A local eyewitness said that the light-body actually got fragmented and then disappeared.
Well, this is out first close brush. I think we should get use to it.
