One of the questions I have on this weird phenomenon is, "Why does it seem to be "male-dominate?" Why aren't there reports of women exhibiting these same zombie traits? The incident occurred around 2:03 p.m. along the route that travels between the Richmond District and the Financial District. Muni spokesman Paul Rose said the man got on the bus, took off most of his clothes and refused the bus operator's request to either get dressed or leave.
Rose said the man was wearing only a sock on his private parts. The bus operator evacuated the bus and called police. Rose said officers responded and eventually convinced the man to get dressed and exit the bus. The man was not arrested after the incident, Rose said. The scene was cleared around 2:48 p.m. and passengers were able to get on a different bus, according to Rose.

Wednesday June 18, 2014 - Cambridge, Canada - Police needed a stun gun to subdue a naked man on Wednesday morning in Cambridge after he allegedly assaulted an officer. Officers responded to the area of Conestoga Boulevard and Pine bush Road at about 10:30 a.m. for reports of a naked man running around and shouting while carrying lighter fluid. When the man began pouring the fluid on the ground and sniffing it, officers – fearing he was harming himself – used the stun gun when they say he didn't comply with their instructions. An officer was assaulted during the incident. The 47-year-old suspect was taken to hospital. Tuesday June 17, 2014 - South Yarmouth, Massachusetts - Police took a 31-year-old man into protective custody on Tuesday after a violent scene at a South Yarmouth home. The man, who was naked and wielding a knife when police arrived, had to be stunned twice with a Taser before being subdued. Just after 6:30 p.m., Police received a call from a man at a White’s Path home reporting that his friend had locked himself in the bathroom, and was in the process of destroying it. The caller said the man was schizophrenic, and had been awake for three days straight. When officers arrived, the caller told them the man usually carried a knife. While banging on the walls of the bathroom and breaking glass, the man said he was the devil, and that an exorcism needed to be performed. After police attempted to negotiate with him, the man opened the door and walked out into the hallway. Police say he was naked, with blood running down his leg from a self-inflicted stab wound. The man dropped the knife and lay facedown on the floor, but became violent when police attempted to restrain him. After being stunned with a Taser, police say, the man remained combative, smashing a china cabinet filled with glass objects. A second Taser shot finally allowed police to subdue the man. Members of the Fire Department, who had been staged at a safe location nearby, arrived to treat the man’s wound. One officer also sustained injury during the struggle.
The man was transported to Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis for further treatment and psychological evaluation.

Travis Andrew Cooke, 20, was charged with disorderly conduct, indecent exposure and resisting arrest, according to a report on Fredericksburg.com. Cooke was wearing clothes when he showed up at the Mountain View Road just after 6 a.m. Sunday. The people at the home said they knew Cooke, but had not seen him in months. When Cooke began to scream and break things inside the home, a person at the house called 911. That person told deputies they believed Cooke was under the influence of drugs. When deputies arrived, Cooke was outside the house, naked and yelling. Deputies used a Taser to control Cooke. He was taken to the hospital to be check out and later taken to Rappahannock Regional Jail.

Thursday June 12, 2014 - Madison, New Jersey - The motive isn’t clear, but for some reason a nursing home patient in suburban New Jersey wheeled his naked self into the room of a 92-year-old fellow resident and beat the man with a piece of his wheelchair. Richard Szabo, 73, attacked John Foster early Thursday with the leg brace from his chair, leaving Foster bleeding in bed with facial and head wounds, police said. Madison Police Department Lt. Joseph Cirella said Szabo was found in his birthday suit, sitting in a wheelchair outside Foster’s room at the Pine Acres Nursing Home in Madison, about 16 miles from Newark. Both men were taken to a local hospital for evaluation. Szabo was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and possession of a weapon. He is due back in court on June 18.

He then broke free and ran off, but was captured after a short foot pursuit. Believing Neville was under the influence of drugs, he was taken to a hospital for an evaluation. Police said the bizarre incident began when the 26-year-old man barged into a fourth-floor doctor's office and began destroying it. He reportedly said he was suicidal. "He began to overturn items and to break items, from trash cans to desks," said Phoenix police Sgt. Trent Crump. He took some medical tools with him, police said.
Crump said two officers responding to the area near the intersection of 19th Avenue and Missouri deployed their stun guns on the man who had tools, including screwdrivers and even a surgical saw, in his hand. By then, the man, whose name has not yet been released, had stripped down to his underwear. Investigators said it appeared he wanted to fight with police. "We had given him multiple commands and he was refusing, he was challenging our officers," Crump said. "We have what appears to be three Tazer deployments. The probes struck the suspect that were ineffective and he continued to lunge at our officers with the item and was shot."
Police said the suspect was shot in the chest. "Once the suspect was shot, our officers administered aid, literally taking him off the hot street because they were getting burned as they were fighting with him," Crump said. Temperatures were in the low 100s. The man continued to fight with officers after he was shot and had to be handcuffed to keep him from struggling on the way to the hospital, Crump said.

Officials say the ordeal began when the man went streaking past police headquarters in Downtown Seattle near 5th and Cherry around 10 a.m. Officers found the man running downhill toward Elliott Bay and ran off after him.
They were able to catch up to the man around Alaskan Way and Columbia Street, even managing to get one handcuff on him, police said. But the man turned and attacked the officers and ran off again, making it the four blocks to Colman Dock. Video from a witness shows the naked man then climbing down a ladder at one of the ferry terminal's parking areas and dropping into the bay.

Thursday May 22, 2014 - Isle of Wight, Virgina – A 44-year-old Carrollton man is behind bars after officials say he choked an elderly woman and attacked an Isle of Wight deputy when he tried to intervene. Deputies received calls about a man who had mental problems at around 6:50 p.m. When the deputy arrived he saw a naked man, identified as Derrick Allison, choking a woman. He tried to get in the middle and officials say that’s when Allison attacked the deputy. They say he started growling and trying to bite the deputy’s face. The deputy then deployed two Taser cartridges but Allison removed the probes. The two fought for several minutes and the deputy was finally able to gain control over Allison. Other deputies were able to help arrest Allison. Allison was taken to Riverside Regional Medical Center for minor injuries, and the deputy was taken to Norfolk General Hospital. The deputy was later released. Allison has been charged with abduction, assault and battery of an officer, disorderly conduct, strangulation, assault and battery, resisting arrest, destruction of property, assault and battery of a family member.

Per the police report, 49-year old Lonnie Jackson Hutton "pulled down his pants and underwear exposing his genitals" and then attempted to have his way with the Boro Bar and Grill's cash machine. He "then began to walk ‘nude’ around the bar thrusting his hips in the air.” Police were called, and Hutton was told to wait on an outdoor picnic table until the authorities showed up. Then things allegedly got weirder. Per the report, Hutton then "again exposed himself and engaged in sexual intercourse with the wooden picnic table." Witnesses say the suspect first attacked a woman jogging with her baby in an Oak Cliff neighborhood on Friday night, then saw a Honda at a stop sign and attacked again. Marcus Payne, a nearby neighbor, began recording the incident with his iPhone. In Payne’s video, police are seen pulling up just as the suspect, 23-year-old Nicholas Dyll, hurls himself into the sunroof of the car, which was being driven by a woman. Police are then seen trying to catch up to the car as it begins going the wrong way on Zang Boulevard. “I couldn’t move; it’s like I was paralyzed with fear,” said the victim driving. Once inside the car, the victim says Dyll punched her in the face and started choking her. Out of instinct, the victim drove into a utility pole, stopped the car and allowed police to apprehend Dyll. "It's like a nightmare every time I close my eyes,” said the victim. The victim's car is now un-drivable, with damages estimated at more than $3,000, but the damage goes far beyond that. "It’s so much more than a car,” said the victim. “Not being able to sleep, not being able to eat; it's too much." Dallas police say Dyll looked like he was on drugs during the incident, but they don't know for sure yet. He was taken to Methodist Hospital for treatment, but so far hasn't been arrested because detectives are still investigating. The first victims, a woman and her baby, are expected to be OK.
