I saw a clip from Glenn Beck's show at my parent's home tonight, that featured a video clip from You Tube. I watched it as Beck played it on his show and was disappointed to see such a beautiful piece of creativity twisted for political purposes.
Instead of 'Military Moms of America' uniting to end the fiasco in Afganistan to bring the sons and daughters home, they are urging more troops be sent 'to help keep the ones that are there safe.' ???
The way 'wars' are fought today, if big troop numbers are the solution then why aren't 'we' done in Afganistan? Does no one realize the 'enemy' doesn't consist of big troop numbers? Does no one realize that big troop numbers make big targets?
It's sad to think that the guy who is featured in the you tube clip may be in even bigger danger if these 'moms' have their way.
Of course there could be a hidden personal agenda involved here as well. I really hope I never hear about some 'mom' sacrificing her son in pursuit of political favors, but, worse things have happened, I suppose. :/
Just one more example of how some people only see what they believe.
The twist that I am referring to comes at about the 2:16 mark, where the on screen message, in my view, turns from pro-life to pro-war due to some delusional thinking.
