Mind programming to further produce a local police state, northern Houston, TX

For the longest time, the county that I reside in, north Houston, TX, has been plagued with drunk drivers, alcohol related crashes and deaths (some of the highest in the USA) and of course a ruthless police force that issues an inordinate amount of DWI's(Driving While Intoxicated). Now don't get me wrong, I would never justify anyone to drive intoxicated. However, at the same time with a national rise in excessive police force over the past 11 years, mainly due to 9/11 and the pseudo War On Terror, I do not support nor endorse police that invade your privacy and rights of free will granted by the US Constitution and the great union of the cosmos. It seems like now in our current plight, at least where I live, a number of officers of the law assume that you are guilty before they even observe the situation. They are under the impression that their authority shall not be questioned.

Anyways recently we have had 2 alcohol related crashes which caused numerous deaths in both the incidents, but of course, the drunk driver in each incident survived. Funny, how that happens. Each of these collisions happened within 3 days of each other. The unbelievable correlation between both of these incidents brings me to my purpose for writing on this topic. Both drivers were at least twice over the legal limit. They caused the wrecks because they turned onto an exit ramp going onto the freeway, crashing head-on with another vehicle. The accident pictures were horrific, as you can imagine.

I may be going out on a limb here, but could these accidents be the effects of mind programming? It's hard for me to believe that alcohol is the sole cause of this irrational decision making, that occurred to the extreme, twice, within 3 days!! Moreover, I do not believe in coincidences anymore. I quote from the article in the local newspaper: "We have tried to educate the public, now we must use enforcement." First of all, they already have been using extreme enforcement, over the past couple of years, through mandatory blood testing and no refusal. Does anyone have any input on a similar situation occurring? My opinion is that, it is always about money, and I feel like the local police force is using this as a reason to imply more authority and more control on the masses.

Forgive me. I must clarify: I was not specific enough in explaining the accident. When I said they turned onto an exit ramp, I meant they u-turned from the feeder road, onto the exit ramp and therefore, entering the freeway against oncoming traffic. These accidents were absolutely horrendous!!!

I guess it's rather difficult to speculate without further data. It could be that you're right, or it could be just another sign of the times, i.e. the approach of the wave. The madness around us is certainly increasing.

I might be able to give a bit of insight on t one; as I am a hypnotist, and have some real practical experience with psychology (i say that in comparison to some 'proffesionals' who got everything they know from a book, not implying anything about anyone here)

The mind is a very visual thing. Images and what they represent are far more important to conveying a message than plain words. For example what you see on a computer screen as yellow is actually a mixture of green and red. Your mind knows those signals mean yellow and so you see yellow.

The critical mind is what helps distinguish as best as possible between an illusion and reality. It is what picks apart the BS someone is telling you in a seemingly logical way. It is what keeps you from doing things that are socially unacceptable despite how fun or practical it may be. It unfortunately is also responcible for pattern detection which can lead to irrational fear and behaviors meant to keep you from experiencing something terrible again. Hypnosis is helpful in going around the critical mind and helping a subject to overcome these fears or even just experience things the critical mind would ruin by saying 'no you aren't really feeling this'

There is something else that circumvents the critical mind though; alcohol. Specifically it inhibits your mind from functioning properly in that area. It is why you do stupid things drunk that you never would do.

The people in question were very drunk, so they likely saw the exit ramp and just thought 'Ramp' which means a place to get on. You don't think of the exit as a ramp; you think of it as an 'exit' visually its similar enough, and with the critical mind so impared, there was no questioning the first thought that showed up.

It is odd timing that it would happen twice so soon, but in such impared condition it is possible they made that mistake legitimately.

Interesting thoughts Galdon. Thank you for your input. With your background of expertise, you just may be correct on the subject.
