Misguided Patriotism Emails

Al Today

The Living Force
Below is just one email of the continual flow of garbage that comes into my inbox. I am just tired of receiving emails that show how messed up the people here in the good ole USofA are. Reading the below is an example of ponerization is action. Psychopaths… blek… Damn Sheeple… blek… Fur Ball… blek…

My passion is running hot and I just wanna start something. But I’d rather post this and cool down, try to control these emotional programs. Can anyone offer some help with a compostion that perhaps can start to circulate in rebuttal of this krap? I am attempting to compose SOMETHING, but I also have great respect for yall out there and I would ask for your help. I do feel myself inadequate as a writer. I am too emotional and honestly do not have enough facts. Read below about the misguided patriotism that exists here…
I try to be amused but when is enough too much?
The email as follows…

Subject: I Don't Care!!!!

Written by a housewife from New Jersey and sounds like it! This
is one ticked off lady.

"Are we fighting a war on terror or aren't we? Was it or was it
not started by Islamic people who brought it to our shores on September
11, 2001?

Were people from all over the world, mostly Americans, not
brutally murdered that day, in downtown Manhattan, across the Potomac
from our nation's capitol and in a field in Pennsylvania?

Did nearly three thousand men, women and children die a horrible, burning or crushing death that day, or didn't they?

And I'm supposed to care that a copy of the Koran was
"desecrated" when an overworked American soldier kicked it or got it
wet?...Well, I don't. I don't care at all.

I'll start caring when Osama bin Laden turns himself in and
repents for incinerating all those innocent people on 9/11.

I'll care about the Koran when the fanatics in the Middle East
start caring about the Holy Bible, the mere possession of which is a
crime in Saudi Arabia.

I'll care when these thugs tell the world they are sorry for
hacking off Nick Berg's head while Berg screamed through his gurgling
slashed throat.

I'll care when the cowardly so-called "insurgents" in Iraq come
out and fight like men instead of disrespecting their own religion by
hiding in mosques.

I'll care when the mindless zealots who blow themselves up in
search of nirvana care about the innocent children within range of their suicide bombs.

I'll care when the American media stops pretending that their
First Amendment liberties are somehow derived from international law
instead of the United States Constitution's Bill of Rights.

In the meantime, when I hear a story about a brave marine
roughing up an Iraqi terrorist to obtain inf ormation, know this: I don't care.

When I see a fuzzy photo of a pile of naked Iraqi prisoners who
have been humiliated in what amounts to a college-hazing incident, rest
assured: I don't care.

When I see a wounded terrorist get shot in the head when he is
told not to move because he might be booby-trapped, you can take it to
the bank: I don't care.

When I hear that a prisoner, who was issued a Koran and a prayer
mat, and fed "special" food that is paid for by my tax dollars, is
complaining that his holy book is being "mishandled," you can absolutely believe in your heart of hearts: I don't care.

And oh, by the way, I've noticed that sometimes it's spelled
"Koran" and other times "Quran." Well, Jimmy Crack Corn and --you
guessed it -- I don't care!!!"

If you agree with this viewpoint, pass this on to all your E-mail friends..

Sooner or later, it'll get to the people responsible for this
ridiculous behavior!

If you don't agree, then by all means hit the delete button.

Should you choose the latter, and then please don't complain when more atrocities committed by radical Muslims happen here in our great
country!

And may I add:

"Some people spend an entire lifetime wondering if they made a
difference in the world, but the Marines don't have that problem." --
Ronald Reagan

I have another quote that I would like to add AND......I hope you forward all this.

"If we ever forget that we're One Nation Under God, then we will
be a nation gone under." Also by - Ronald Reagan

One last thought for the day:

In case we find ourselves starting to believe all the
Anti-American sentiment and negativity, we should remember England's
Prime Minister Tony Blair's words during a recent interview. When asked by one of his Parliament members why he believes so much in America, he said: "A simple way to take measure of a country is to look at how many want in...and how many want out."

Only one defining force has ever offered to die for you: The
American G.I.

Good idea. And, you could give the truth that is asked for by the lie: Hit the "Reply to all" button and write a short factual email about the work of SotT and/or others from whom you know they try to map the truth.

I did this last week after I received a email petition against brutal livestock transports.

I guess using the energy of the emotion in this way can be beneficial, as long as you stay factual and keep a cool clear head. But I did not read about the utilization of energy centers yet.

Absolutely, positively frightening. The part about her referring to the torture/humiliation of prisoners as a college-hazing incident was particularly loathsome. (Just a harmless college prank...yeah, right. Hazing itself is anything but. As for torture...)

Yup. Sure reads like ponerization in action. Until others do as this 'lady' believes they should do...let 'em suffer, be maimed, tortured, or die. Her god...with the help of the USA military....will sort 'em out. Well, some claim revenge is a dish best served cold. And this email, filled with hate and thoughts of humiliating revenge is just that...cold.

Since 9/11, I've come across lots of these scary diatribes. Some hide the fear, hatred and violence-mongering in smaltzy, patriotic prose, intending to make the reader feel guilt if he or she doesn't wholeheartedly support our troops destroying whole countries in the pursuit of 'justice' and 'freedom.' Too bad if some innocent people get killed. American innocent people are more important.

Sigh. It's obvious this New Jersey housewife does not understand the concept of karma, let alone the good 'ol Christian American golden rule. If people like her would only stand back and think about what they are saying...and endorsing. I used to wonder how people could be sucked into following the evil designs of leaders whose 'wishful' thinking always leads to suffering and disaster. No more.

Overall tone of the email reminds me of same kind of speech and thinking that we have here in former Yugoslavia in late 80s and early 90s just before the war here. Each nation was over others, Croats was better then Bosnians, Bosnians was better then Serbs, Serbs was above all . . . No one cares for nothing about others. I would say that such kind of emails and way of thinking is much more dangerous then one can see on first read, and one of the goals must be to increase the negativity in person who hooks on it (shell I say lower persons vibrational frequency?)

Just read this horror, what is your first emotion when you read something like this?

I'll care when these thugs tell the world they are sorry for
hacking off Nick Berg's head while Berg screamed through his gurgling
slashed throat.
It is obviously written by some very ignorant person who didn’t see what real war and killing looks, not even feel indescribable fear in close of some battle, bombs explosions . . . and think that war is something on the CNN. And of course there is unavoidable shiny bull like bible and American constitution which such types likes to put in theirs speeches to gain some credibility.

Al Today, I am not American, but nevertheless I don’t think that you would do any good with such sort of counter emails. People already have negative pre-thoughts with that kind of spamming, and one who wants to know truth will find his way to it. I think so . . .

Thank you. Sometimes the adrenalin will flow and logic gives way to acts of passion. And acts of passion are usually played out to negative results.

Many people perhaps are emtionally charged and just will not listen to reason.
One cannot help another if that other does not want help. So I leave them alone to follow their chosen path...

I've cooled down, collected my thoughts, and appreciate this opportunity to do so.
