MK-Ultra: Video about secret deadly experiments

This reminds me of a great documentary I stumbled upon a few years ago: The Minds of Men. It covers in detail the history of mind control research and experiments, including all the nasty stuff the CIA were into. When I watched this the first time I already had a cursory knowledge of MKUltra etc. but this really paints a detailed picture. Note that it is quite long at almost 4 hours.

Maybe it should have been called - the mind of men who serve the hidden hands. I listened to the video for over 3 hours… it is horrible what has been done to humans and animals in the name of science, dominance and war. Beyond awful.

It gives however good insight into a feeling that these kind of experimentations without consent, never really stopped, just changed and evolved into more sinister plans and technologies. Non-stop. Which we have gotten painfully aware in the last three years.

The PTB has been at it constantly for a very long time. But man, it is really heavy stuff to listen to the video. Yet insightful, looking evil straight in the eyes. And all that, just on 3D level. Is there no end to this ?

Mama mia… uh !

Thanks for the reminder of this documentary! I had forgotten about it. There is a similar docu-drama series on Netflix called "Wormwood" that touches on MKUltra (I haven't watched it yet):
Wormwood (stylized as 'WORMWO0D') is a 2017 American six-part docudrama miniseries directed by Errol Morris[1] and released on Netflix on December 15, 2017.[2] The series is based on the life of a scientist, Frank Olson, who worked for a secret government biological warfare program (the USBWL) at Fort Detrick, Maryland. It focuses on the events leading up to and following his controversial death, which the US government originally claimed was a tragic accident, but later admitted was likely a suicide, caused by a mental breakdown brought on after being unknowingly dosed with LSD, while at a meeting with colleagues from the CIA who were involved in Project MKUltra. It also follows Frank Olson's son in the present day, and discusses his belief that his father may have been murdered due to being perceived as a potential security risk. Interspersed between interviews and archival footage, are live action reenactments of the final days of Frank Olson's life and the various theories involving his death.

Sorry but I only watched the first video, unfortunately I know all that, but I won't watch the other videos, not that they are fake but I can't stand it and I don't want to pollute my mind with it these horrors...
It's not that I don't want to look EVIL in the face, I know it even though I know I'm not able to imagine all their tortures but I prefer to fill my eyes with Love, Joy and Light , beauty, sweetness, tenderness...
I'm hyper sensitive, every day is enough of a pain... It's my choice.

The CIA’s MKULTRA program, a Cold War-era initiative, aimed to develop mind-control techniques through unethical experiments on unwitting human subjects, including the use of LSD, hypnosis, sensory deprivation and physical methods.
Over 1,200 declassified documents reveal the program’s disturbing scope, confirming its unethical practices and the CIA’s deliberate destruction of evidence in 1973, ordered by then-CIA Director Richard Helms and Sidney Gottlieb.

Washington, D.C., December 23, 2024 – Today, the National Security Archive and ProQuest (part of Clarivate) celebrate the publication of a new scholarly document collection many years in the making on the shocking secret history of the CIA’s mind control research programs. The new collection, CIA and the Behavioral Sciences: Mind Control, Drug Experiments and MKULTRA, brings together more than 1,200 essential records on one of the most infamous and abusive programs in CIA history.

Under code names that included MKULTRA, BLUEBIRD and ARTICHOKE, the CIA conducted terrifying experiments using drugs, hypnosis, isolation, sensory deprivation, and other extreme techniques on human subjects, often U.S. citizens, who frequently had no idea what was being done to them or that they were part of a CIA test.

Today’s announcement comes 50 years after a New York Times investigation by Seymour Hersh touched off probes that would bring MKULTRA abuses to light. The new collection also comes 70 years since U.S. pharmaceutical giant Eli Lilly & Company first developed a process to streamline the manufacture of LSD in late 1954, becoming the CIA’s chief supplier of the newly discovered psychoactive chemical central to many of the Agency’s behavior control efforts.

About this Collection

This collection explores the Central Intelligence Agency’s foray into behavioral and mind control experiments in the 1950s and 1960s. Most commonly known as Project MKULTRA, which refers to the research carried out by the CIA and affiliated institutions between 1953-1963, this codename came to be used as an umbrella term for an array of scientific, psychological, and military endeavors that began well before the official start of MKULTRA in 1953 and that continued in the years after the project officially ended. In this collection, researchers will find many documents relating to MKULTRA as well as its predecessors, Project BLUEBIRD and Project ARTICHOKE, and its various sister projects and successors, including MKNAOMI, MKDELTA and MKSEARCH. This collection also contains records relating to investigations into the CIA’s mind control program, both by the Agency itself and Congress, during the mid to late 1970s. The set has been carefully curated to highlight the clearest, most substantive documents available on MKULTRA and to focus on those records that provide insight into the scope and purpose of the Agency’s mind control program.

Most of the documents were donated to the National Security Archive by John Marks, the author of The Search for the Manchurian Candidate, a book widely considered to be the most authoritative recounting of the CIA’s involvement in behavior and mind control experiments. They consist primarily of CIA records Marks obtained through the Freedom of Information Act. Another source for the collection are documents that the CIA released to the family of Frank Olson, an Army biochemist who died in 1953 after he was secretly administered LSD by a CIA employee and then fell from a 10th-story window. Congressional hearings and testimony and the CIA’s reading room were also researched to supplement the collection.
