Monthly donations to SOTT

I subscribed to SOTT about 2 years ago but I haven't noticed any deductions from my account recently. I am wondering with Worldpay does the subscription run out after a set amount of time, such as a year?

Yeah, each subscription lasts a year.

Does world pay/QFG email you to let you know the subscription has run out? If not could it be something setup? I'd find it useful to remind me when I need to renew.

If I correctly remember Worldpay sends you an automatic message stating that your contribution has expired.

Isn't the phrase "I challenge you..." an attempted usurpation of someone else's 'free will'?

Just asking.

Probably, but as it was a cause that we are all colinear with, I didn't even think about freewill considerations...
Perhaps I should have?

Hi Laura,

A very sweet girl has agreed that I can use her credit card to purchase TSHOTW, and a trustworthy friend is finding me a safe mailing address in England, so that's taken care of.

Re my donation; my sweet girl can only use her credit card for dollars, sterling or local currency; no Euros, I'm afraid. Which would be better for you(discounting the local currency); dollars or sterling?

'Moderator note: I have put the citation in quotes. That way, it is easier to see who wrote what'.

Mea culpa! I'll just have to admit it; I can't work out how to use the quote box!

Please, someone let me in on the secret, before I die of shame! :-[

Thanks.

Signed,

Techno Idiot.

We all started as techno idiots!!!

The new forum actually makes it easier todo.

Write/paste something in the reply box as normal, then if you want that peice of text quoted, highlight it by dragging the mouse curser over it (with the left mouse button held down). It should now appear selected.
All you need todo now is press the quote button above where you type the text.
It is above the smileys, above this one -> :scared:
It looks like a little yellow speech bubble.

When you think its right, check by pressing the Preview button (next to Post), that way you know its correct!

This is how I do it anyway :)

I would like to help; is it more effective to make a donation than buy some books from Red Pill Press? Or let me put it this way: I'm planning to buy most of your excellent books anyway - so would now be the "best" time for me to buy them or would you prefer a donation (the amount of the donation will probably not be as much as the price of the books, sorry...)?

Meanwhile, to all forum readers, we are really at a crisis point financially because of the Higher Balance/Pepin legal costs, so if you can buy a book or make a donation, do so now!

Now it is the best time. The way to do it, IMHO, is up to you. You could even buy some books and give a donation.
I think the most important thing is to help.

And thank you, RedFox; it was your instructions I followed. ;)

Because one dollar shops are so popular, I noticed that people have tendency to spend small amount of money frequently, rather that spend big amount of cash rarely. Your donations could be increased if you place donate logo like this one
https://t4.ftcdn.net/jpg/00/94/67/93/240_F_94679384_YhfzCRBZtC8WtaWF8WCKycOnob6lzQnO.jpg
but with yellow background instead of red background and with round black border like this.

Yellow color brings attention. There should be also text "donate 1$".

It have to be placed in visible spot. For sott.net it will be second icon near Sott logo. In cassiopaea.org it will be near Fellowship of Cosmic Mind logo (or near country flags icons) and in the forum it will be on top bar. It would be also better to use dollar sign rather than euro sign.

Few good examples:
